Kate Lewis, my real estate agent does a phenomenal job; she works out of their office in Greenwich. I used her in 2000 on a fairly complex transaction and I her used her again in 2006 for a more straightforward transaction. The biggest problem with a real estate agent is that they often do not act as their client’s advocate, however, Kate very much acts as the advocate for the party she is representing. As a seller one wants to maximize the price and as a seller one wants to minimize the price and she goes for the fair pricing for both parties. She was exceptional. She did a great prep on the house that we were selling and did great background research on the house that we were buying. She has in-depth knowledge of both sides. I have probably sold eleven houses and she is the only agent I felt the need to go back to and engage. Kate is one of the few women i know who still wears white gloves when she goes outdoors. She is also very comfortable on horseback; she is just a lovely, lovely woman.
