"[Member Name Removed], Thank you for your continued business and feedback. While I am glad you appreciated our high quality interior paint job and our responsiveness to your punchlist, I am deeply sorry you were disappointed with the overall exterior painting process. As I read your feedback I am saddened by the fact that we failed you by not meeting our own high MDF standards. I do agree with you that the "process" of painting your home is just as important as the final product and that's why we embrace the concept of "CANI" and the "3 Big C's." CANI stands for "Constant And Never Ending Improvement" and is something that has guided our painting business over the last 20 years on more than 5,000 successful projects. The "3 Big C''s" which I constantly preach: Community, Custom Craftsmanship and Communication are tenets that we also strive to live by each and every day. Unfortunately, I personally failed you in terms of communication. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have been more clear at our pre-job meeting about such things as our daily work schedule, weather considerations, Crew Leader responsibilities, the exact scope of work in your contract and our touch-up processes. This is my fault, and my fault alone, and I sincerely apologize as my intentions were only to serve you by giving you extensive preparation work and the longest lasting paint job on your trim. Although I am proud of how quickly and professionally my team responded to all your requests, I wish there was more I could do to make you happy. Please know that the exterior trim at your home is fully warrantied by both MDF Painting and Sherwin-Williams Companies. The slow drying oil-based primer that was used on the bare wood and the Emerald Satin paint are some of the best products on the market today and they will preserve and protect the beauty of your home for many years. Should you have any other suggestions for us to improve, please let me know directly. Thank you again for your business and for your feedback. Mark A. "Thank you, [Member Name Removed]! It was a pleasure working with you. We appreciate your continued business!"
We lined up 4 companies to give us bids. 3 showed up and I was impressed with the detail that Mark went through the house. He asked a lot of questions around our expectations, what we wanted done and our expectations. I was left with the feeling that Mark and his team would do a very good job. We wanted the job done as quickly as possible as we were not going to move into our new house until the painting was done. Out of the 3 companies, MDF was one of the lower prices. In addition, they clearly outlined the cost of labor and the amount of paint estimated, it was then up to me to pick the quality of paint. MDF was able to get very high quality paint at a great price. One week after the proposal, we had our pre-work meeting in which Mark (the owner), the job supervisor and I went through everything. Not only did we go through the details of the job, they brought samples of the paint colors I picked out and put them up on the wall. That way I could make sure I was comfortable with the paint colors prior to purchasing all of the paint. The team then started immediately. They worked through the weekend and the main two floors were completed in 6 days. It took one additional day to lay the epoxy down on the basement floor.
The qualify of work was great. They did a good job repairing all of the nail holes in the walls. They removed some wallpaper we had up and the newly finished walls look great. The trim was painted expertly. The crew protected our new carpet and floors. They cleaned up after themselves.
"Thank you for the feedback! It was excellent working with you and I look forward to working with you again!"

"[member name removed], I was unaware that your job 3 years ago was postponed. Often weather and other unforeseen circumstances force scheduling adjustments. I appreciate your understanding and continued business. Please let me know what I can do to rectify the situation. Sincerely, Mark A. DeFrancesco"
