Gunner Roofing

I am sure that all positive reviews for this company are fake. Nothing that was promised to me was delivered. My siding project is still ongoing for over 1 month. Was told that it would be done in week. Had one rain day. They have system like this: 1) sales person who never installed anything he will promise you things that obviously are not true, 2) crew that is subcontracted but not Gunner, mine was driving for over 2 hours away, 3) person who oversees the project but has little control over anything, no supply, doesn't know the crew, crew does not listen to him, main office does not listen to him, 4) main office does not reply to you. They just tell me to talk to project manager who has no control. So you understand that if there are any issue you are on your own. Quality or work is not good. Many times I had to point to the crew what's wrong, planks are broken yet they were still installing it, caulking is done they way that I can do it better, they cut wires to awning etc

These guys are great to deal with. I’ve been in construction for over 40 years, and I know, when you find a good contractor, you hang on to them. Gunner has done my roof and both of my daughter’s houses. They are honest, fair, and do excellent work, and they stand behind it. They have my business for life.

Everything was substandard. I would not recommend them to anyone. Communication, workmanship, not showing up to work, crew size, cleanliness, meeting commitments. A job estimated for 2 to 3 weeks took over 3 months. It is still not done to our satisfaction, but we "gave up", and told them to leave.

We recently had Gunner install Hardie plank siding and gutters. Out of the several estimates we got, Gunner was not only the most competitive but also provided a very thorough and an accurate estimate. Connor, the project manager and team were very professional and did an amazing job. I received daily updates on progress and was asked if I had any questions or concerns. Connor and team were very attentive throughout the whole process and we are couldn’t be happier. Gunner did a great job, at great price and with great customer service.

We just completed installing all new windows and hardy board on our house! From start to finish Connor in sales was amazing and Conor as the project manager was incredible. They were both responsive, honest, and efficient in everything they did. We met with and got 5 different quotes before going with Gunner. Gunner was comparable in price to other companies but the customer service stood above the rest. They were straight forward and didn't waste our time. The sales pitch from some other companies were HOURS they stayed until the wore you down! The exact opposite of what we experienced with Gunner. Once our project started Conor checked in daily to make sure I was up to date with every move. When something unexpected arose (which is bound to happen with any sort of construction) he made sure we understood, asked our opinion and approval before moving forward with any decision about our house. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend!

We recently had our siding done by Gunner Roofing and can’t say enough good things. We had our consultation with Andrew and he was honest, not pushy, and even enthusiastic about the project. He was patient and answered multiple rounds of questions to make us feel as comfortable and secure as possible. When we decided to give the siding project to them, they worked with us step by step. We received line item details, mock ups, and were even able to get their own personal/professional input on decisions. Andrew and Joe Massari went over the project with us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable. They stayed professional, reliable, and communicative during the whole process. Our Project Manager, Conor, kept open lines of communication and was honest about timelines, materials, etc.; nothing during this project was a surprise. Gabriel and his crew did absolutely amazing work, they were meticulous, precise, and clean. The whole team really took an out of box idea and delivered on it at 100%. I’m truly so lucky to have found this group and have already spoken to them about future projects. Scope of work: full Hardie siding (Hardie Panel vertical siding), window install, gutter replacement, front door install. we did siding, roofing and gutters and windows with them. we had some initial issues and lots of delays but the work was well done and the crew was clean, on time and polite. we would recommend them.

Gunner roofing, including project manager Conor and a highly skilled crew, did an outstanding job in replacing our 30-year damaged cedar siding. They were exemplary in their professionalism, attention to detail, daily updates (very informative), and maintaining the work site clean and safe. This is an outstanding group which allowed the homeowner to be a part of their “team”. Will definitely seek their services for future home improvements.

Gunner is the "A" team. They promptly responded to my quote request. Conor made a fair, honest, professional low pressure presentation resulting in our instant decision to go with Gunner. The contract phase was easy and Becky was a pleasure to work with in the permitting and certificate of completion process. Anthony and Conor were the project managers and were straight up honest, super responsive, in constant daily communication and treat you like family. The construction team was all business with a smile. We were away during the main phase of the project and Conor provided daily photos and text updates eliminating any concerns we had about being away. The post project review with Conor was easy and the very minor issues were quickly resolved. The Hardie board and gutters look perfect. Recent heavy rains illustrated the gutters were properly installed and worked flawlessly. The four custom windows are delayed for reasons beyond the control of Gunner and I have full confidence they will be perfectly installed. We are very satisfied and highly recommend them! Five stars+!!

I had the best experience with Gunner from the moment I left the voicemail message. My call was returned promptly by Andrew. He asked me for all the details and address of my home and said that he would send a proposal via email for me. We had the work done in February so Covid continued to be a concern. No problem for Gunner ! they got aerial shots of our home to send along with the proposal. Andrew followed up with a phone call and we went over all the specifics outlined in the email presentation. Becky seamlessly took care of all the permits from the town. The turnaround was amazing. I have heard from my neighbors that it took months for them to get the required permits from the village. Nick followed up with an onsite inspection and we went over all the specifics. The day before the installation a cart and all required equipment was delivered and placed properly in our driveway. The roof was complete in two days and the clean up was very thorough. Nick and Andrew followed up to make sure we were happy and provided us pictures of the completed roof. We received all our required warranties in the mail. I was very impressed with their professionalism and care for you as a customer. They sent a "handwritten note" thanking us for choosing Gunner along with a thank you gift. From beginning to end the service we received from Gunner was top notch. I would recommend them again and again!

We used Gunner Roofing to install James Hardy siding on our home. We looked at many local contractors and no one came close to their professionalism! If we could give them 10 stars we would. They made sure we fully understood all of our options and what exactly the contract included. Andrew walked us through the design phase and make sure we had exactly what we wanted to achieve our goals. Then we started working with Anthony who walked us through every aspect of the construction and we fully understood each part of the project and there were no surprises. He kept us fully up to date and sent many photos as they worked, he was always available to answer any questions! The men working on our house were great they took every precaution necessary to keep everyone safe and paid such close attention to detail! Everything is absolutely perfect. Gunner is top-notch and you won't be disappointed. Their team was efficient and did a fantastic job replacing our roof and siding. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfectly completed and even helped fix some interior work outside of our originally scoped project. Anthony in particular was amazing in leading our siding project. He was responsive and friendly throughout the project and personally checked all of the work to ensure its quality. I discovered James Hardie siding on Instagram. I dm’d the company to find local providers. They had two companies contact me to quote pricing. I chose Gunner because they came to me prepared. Prior to my quote they sent me a link for an app to download to my cell. Using the app camera I took a variety of pictures of the exterior of my house which enabled them to measure for pricing. When they came to me to quote the job, they presented to me the benefits of James Hardie, but then there was a solid quote right then for the project, with additional add-on pricing for embellishments. I had all the info right there, on the spot. They left a sample of siding colors. I signed a few days later. I had a clear idea of pricing and their plan for proceeding with the project. My house had vinyl siding that was probably installed in the ‘80s. It was brittle and breaking. During the “ripping” phase (removing existing siding) there was a lot of wood rot (plenty of pics texted to me during the entire process) that was replaced with new sheets of wood. Also discovered were entry points for mice (an on going problem that I have always battled), and I was told that this job would close up those entry points (problem solved!). The “wrapping” part of the process was when they put Hardie wrap over the wood sheet, but before the siding. Then installing the siding went pretty quickly. I chose Iron Gray for the siding, and Arctic White for the trim and water table. My property was left in better condition after the project compared to prior. All Gunner employees were very responsive (I prefer texting), and very easy to work with. I feel that the pricing was very much in line with the competition. This was a huge job. I was very anxious about my decisions. Now that the project is done, I am thrilled. Gunner was one of the best decisions I have made, to date.
