Great client service and work from Bill and his team. They planned out everything and worked with us on some challenging fixes to the existing structure. Great carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Happy to now enjoy the space before the holidays.

We interviewed a number of contractors in the Fairfield area and finally decided on Bill and his team. They remodeled our kitchen, bathrooms and created a family room. We appreciated their attention to our needs (with the design) as a growing family. A project of this magnitude could be stressful but they kept it manageable and organized. Great quality of work...we love the custom cabinets. Would recommend to others.

CONSUMER BEWARE!! I met with several contractors and 2 architects after purchasing a circa 1775 house in late Nov. 2016. The numbers came in over my budget and after much deliberation, I decided to update 2 bathrooms and put the house back on the market. This is when I met Bill. His prices were reasonable, so I ended up adding the small kitchen, which included leveling the old wide plank floor. This is when the nightmare began. IF you decide to hire this builder, know that he is not capable of handling large jobs. Expect delays because he is a small operation. He does not have enough workers and his workers speak little to no English. I am reminded, from old texts, that I almost fired him, early on, due to several serious mistakes made by his workers, who according to Bill, misunderstood him. EX: the 200 yr old wide plank floors in LR were taken up, instead of the kitchen planks(how does one confuse the 2 areas?) and the workers removed asbestos without proper remediation, even after I asked them not to. Whoever is reading this, PLEASE hear me when I say that, IF you hire Bill, it is imperative that you have a contract. Request ALL receipts for materials, weekly, or monthly, depending on your project, as he is unorganized and his invoicing is old school and confusing. Also request, names and hrs of workers and be sure to check all work, on a daily basis, as he does NOT have an eye for detail. Ex: mullions in the windows do not match, one of the windows was installed upside down and a sample window ended up being installed. Exterior doors not lined up with window height on sun room. MAKE SURE HE PROVIDES A SAFE environment and require daily clean-ups to avoid accidents. My 75 yr old aunt almost plummeted to the basement from the second story, after all flooring and a staircase had been removed from living room. There was NOTHING preventing her or anyone else from walking off the edge of second story landing. And despite numerous requests for Bill and/or workers to clean up nails, screws, glass and garbage that had accumulated over many months, with no success, I ended up stepping on a nail(during a meeting with Bill and the engineer) which sent me flying back on the ground. I had to go to urgent care, where I was treated for a mild concussion and required a tetanus shot. Also given the unsafe environment, I felt it negligent of Bill to bring his 3 yr old son, several times, to the job site, leaving him to wander unsupervised. It was never my intent to redo the house with Bill. But after they removed the wrong floor, I was forced to change the scope of work. I should have fired him then, as it seemed to be done on purpose. It has been over 2 years and $409,000 later, with only the rough work done. No insulation, no walls, cabinets and finished plumbing not installed, etc. I tried to sell the house unfinished but not one person/builder, who looked at the house, believed that I had spent that amount of money. When they saw Bills last invoice, the reaction(s) were, that I was scammed, that I should sue and the quality of work was questioned. Unfortunately, my 16 year old son became very ill just weeks after I purchased the house. By the time I met Bill, my sons health had declined even more which is why I decided to sell the house. I feel that Bill took advantage of my situation, being a single mom with a sick son. Earlier this year, I revisited his reviews on H.A., as I had to remind myself why I hired him. I ended up finding similar complaints on the bigger jobs. Since then, those reviews seemed to have disappeared. I question the validity of his 5 star ratings. Hiring him was a huge mistake. It has affected every aspect of my life, especially financially. He still needs to finish work that has been paid for and the cost to finish the house, with a new builder, is going to put me over $700k. Beware of what you are getting with this builder. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

This experience was about as bad as it could get. Bill didn't even file for permits until close to 3 months after he was hired and we closed on the house, he lied to us often, we had to have him redo work several times until we finally fired him, he refused to finish jobs he was paid for and even physically threatened us at one point. Please be warned about this contractor and find someone else to do your work. That is what we wish we did unfortunately it took us several months to cut ties. I am concerned about the accuracy of some of these positive reviews.

Bill was terrific. He took down a wall and re-did the kitchen. The project took a little longer than expected but it came out just great and Bill was always easy to find. The workmanship was very good and his team was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend All Trades.

Bill and his team helped me rebuild the entire first floor of my home which was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy (the work included demolition, mold removal and redesign/remodeling of my dining room, living room, den, two bedrooms, one bathroom and kitchen). Excellent service & work done to perfection. Lots of "little" extras beyond the scope of the job. Excellent workers who arrived on time every day and enjoy what they do.

Bill did a terrific job at a great price on a total bathroom remake. His tile work was superb; his workers are pros and Bill is an exceedingly nice guy who went out of his way to address our concerns and even make some after-the-fact changes. Our sole issue was that the renovation took longer than we had hoped, with some days when there was no work. But it's a nit considering the quality of the finished product. Highly recommended.

Overall we are extremely happy with the results. Tile work, wood floor refinishing, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc. The owner, Bill Brank, was very helpful in making suggestions. At the beginning of the project he went with me to the tile store to help select all the materials. For the fireplace mantle he proposed various designs and together we came up with a design that fit within our budget and looks great. We have received tons of compliments from friends and neighbors. We did add on projects which extended the timeline of the project and getting the finishing details wrapped up was a little tricky but Bill took care of everything.

Bill Brank was a wonderful to work with. His men were exceptional, clean and neat, and for the most part, on the job when we expected them. We were especially impressed with Jorge who did the electricity and plumbing and Adrien who meticulously tiled our master bath renovation. We could not be happier with the stunning results. Bill was patient and caring throughout the project, allowing us to get involved and be "hands on" clients without making us feel intrusive. Changes in designs, ordering snags and such delayed the completion of our project but we are very happy and satisfied with the results.

"We try to make everyone happy and are willing to go to extreme lengths to do so. Even then we try harder. With that I checked with all my customers and can't find who he means by this so if you are there and need something looked at my number is right here and am always willing to take care of any issues. Thank you, Bill"

All Trades was assesible and responsive throughout the project. There were a few hiccups here and there, but in the end the project looks good and came in precisely at budget. It was my wife and my first project and the principle contractor was helpful and patient as we worked together to get the best possible result. The finishing details of the project were sometimes sticky, but I believe this is because the project lasted longer than expected, primarily owing to my own decision to expand the scope mid-project. All said, I am quite pleased with the work and I think it was all done on a proffessional and respectable level.

All Trades Contracting did a wonderful job doing numerous repairs on my house. The biggest project included tearing out flooring and some walls and replacing and re-tiling. The quality was excellent and it was done EXTREMELY fast for a reasonable price. Communication was easy with the lead contractor (Bill Brank) and I would definitely use them again! Very friendly and very fair.

The guys working for Bill did mixed work. On one side they installed all new European style windows beautifully on the other side some simpler double hungs had to be readjusted by a service rep. Bill was responsive to inqueries when things need to be addressed. They did allot of work on the house it would appear that if some projects hadn't been hurried as much the end product might have been better. I had to have all the ceiling fans re-installed, one part of the outdoor siding has to be redone as its off spaced - he used the wrong size Board for the spacing I wanted, and I had to redo all exterior outlets as they were leaking and lose.
