Unfortunately for them I am not a novice when it comes to vehicle repairs, I usually do all my own work, so i was very much aware that only did this work not need to be performed at all, it certainly didn't need it in the manner described- the and quot;It would be dangerous to drive homeand quot; routine.
Needless to say I didn't have the work done there, nor would I ever take a vehicle there for any repairs, no matter how minor.
Of course the vehicle is still fine, several thousand miles later.
"Dear (deleted member name), I am sorry to hear of your dis-satisfaction with our company. When Angie's List contacted us in May concerning your visit in January, I attempted to research this on our computer system, but didn't find any records. Presumably you were given a verbal estimate and not billed for any services. All of our employees are paid hourly so as to alleviate any issues that come with commission programs. If there were other repairs recommended to you, hopefully you have obtained a second opinion on them by another shop and hopefully all is well. We take our reputation very seriously and I only wish you had contacted me sooner and dircetly so I could have attempted to review this matter for you. Again, I apologize for your experience with our company and if you have any comments or question please feel free to contact me at 860-658-6613. Sincerely, Tim Lyons Business owner"
