I used to service my own car, fluids, brakes, etc... I'm very weary of taking my car anywhere for service in fear of getting nickel and dimed or getting work I don't need. I can honestly say that Tim's has been more than fair with me for the 5 years I've been bringing my cars to them. I have older cars (2002, 2003, 2006) and I feel like I've NEVER been taken advantage of. Based on your history and wear he'll tell you if you have a season left on your brakes, or that I really should look into tires the next time I'm in. I like that. I only wish that I didn't have to schedule maintainance appointments further in advance than I would like, but it's worth it.

Toms automotive is the place to trust with your cars. They are not trying to charge a fortune to do a job and that's why I will continue going back to them. They even gave me a ride home which I appreciate so much.

I have been using them for years and this is the only place I would go. I never doubt that I would ever be over charged and I can always trust the analysis of the service problem. I wished Angie's List would let me give them an A+.

I brought my vehicle in for an estimate on replacing the exhaust, however the person who provided the estimate (whom I understand not to be the owner), while giving me an apparent fair estimate for the exhaust work, stated my vehicle needed additional unrelated work for an additional $1k!
Unfortunately for them I am not a novice when it comes to vehicle repairs, I usually do all my own work, so i was very much aware that only did this work not need to be performed at all, it certainly didn't need it in the manner described- the and quot;It would be dangerous to drive homeand quot; routine.
Needless to say I didn't have the work done there, nor would I ever take a vehicle there for any repairs, no matter how minor.
Of course the vehicle is still fine, several thousand miles later.

When Angie's List contacted us in May concerning your visit in January, I attempted to research this on our computer system, but didn't find any records. Presumably you were given a verbal estimate and not billed for any services. All of our employees are paid hourly so as to alleviate any issues that come with commission programs. If there were other repairs recommended to you, hopefully you have obtained a second opinion on them by another shop and hopefully all is well. I don't recall the exact price but they were cheaper than a couple of other quotes that I got on the job. Their waiting area is no frills but their communication is excellent. They tend to put off or advise against repairs that are not necessary saving you money. The dealer gave me a list of about a dozen items that "needed" to be done but Tim told me at least a few were not needed. I am very happy with the results of the work that was done. The door on my Chevy is now working like new. There is a noticeable improvement in the handling of the minivan after the shocks were replaced. I will definitely return there for maintenance and repairs in the future.

He always does an excellent job at a great price, explains everything thoroughly, and suggests when we should spend money to be safe or when the work is not necessary and there's a cheaper alternative. He is incredibly nice and responsive - I've never dealt with someone who provided better customer service.
