What really soured me on the company is when I called to cancel. They were willing to drop the price by .25 for all future deliveries. Now if I didn't already know that I would be getting it for .50 less with the company I went to ( and still with 4 years later) they I may of took their offer. But then that got me thinking they were really overcharging me. When I told my neighbor about this he indicated that State line charged him and a neighbor different prices / gal on the same day.
I knocked them down on professionalism since when I politely declined they really just started to get rude and saying I could do no better on price. And I also got a lecture that their oil is superior because they put pixie dust in it and trying to scare me that other oil will ruin my system. It was all just a little unprofessional to say the least.
The cleanings at state line were over a third more than what I pay now for the same service also.
I did call them last month in Aug, 2012 to inquire on the price / gal (you have to be put on hold to get a price) and sure enough their prices are still very expensive compared to others.
We met at my house, reviewed the site, proposed locations and Mark developed a detailed estimate for my application.
We agreed on the specifications, cost etc and scheduled the installation.
The entire job went very well. I have no complaints and I am thrilled with the outcome and my new tankless hot water system.
I am considering working with them to convert my hot water heating system to this type of mechanical system as well.
