A New Generation

Excellent. I called on Monday afternoon and Dan came over w/in a half hour helped identify what I would need and gave me a price. He said it may take awhile to get the parts and he would call me. He called Tuesday afternoon told me he had the parts and came Wednesday to do the install. When I came home he immediately told me the panel designs were off-center on 2 panels. He had already called the warehouse and would replace them with aligned panels once they had them. The next day (Thursday) he called me, told me he had the right panels and came right out and replaced them. Great quality equipment, professional work, cleaned up afterward and hauled away my old door, opener etc. I highly recommend Dan!

I called Dan Thomsen after seeing his ad in a local flyer.  I say this because I had previously contacted 4 Angies-List-recommended garage door repairers (or at least, who I thought would be repairers).  My experience with 3 of these companies was that I was told that I needed to buy new doors; the fourth said they would try to find replacement panels (but over the course of a week, told me that the panels longer existed).
     Back to the main story ... I called Dan after seeing his ad.  He came to my house within the hour (literally, although I thinked I lucked out because he was working nearby), surveyed the doors, and explained both (simply, but completely) what had caused the damage and the possible remedies.  He called back within 4 hours, letting me know that he had found replacement panels and gave me an estimate for the work needed.
     Within two days, Dan arrived at the time he say he would, did the work he said he would, within the time he said he would, and cleaned up after himself immaculately. I was thrilled with the results!
     In summary, Dan Thomsen is not only a skilled garage door technician; he is a superb communicator - plus being pleasant, punctual, and professional!
