New England Kitchen & Bath

Nightmare! Took all the Money in advance, for six week To complete Contract! 10 Months later ! Not even half done! Took the Money and excuses! Living in ****! Begged for him to send workers to finish ! Kitchen, bathroom hallway , ceiling! Plumbing supplies being held at Webb plumbing since April!! Counters not ordered ! Temporary sink has cold water on the left, hot on the right ! Burned the hands!!! Took my Money and sends periodically some one to do little things! And then nobody! No plumber! No Electritian! My appliances are sitting in the store I bought them since April! What do I do????

Contractor conducted job in an organized timely manner. Project kept to time and cost budget. Pleased with workmanship.

It went excellent. The representative, Abby, lead us through the entire process. She designed and suggested possible items we would want. She listened to what our needs and wants were and fulfilled our dreams. I loved how Abby scheduled the workers and checked on the progress several times a day. When questions rose she was right there getting our feedback. With any project the home owner has to realize there will be hidden things lurking behind those walls. We were in the same boat. We needed to do a new header to secure the kitchen ceiling and had to update the electrical panel. The house was built in 1946 and needed updating badly. All of the workers who came into our home were so professional, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend New England Kitchen and Bath team with flying colors.

Everything went very well. Nice quality work and products. Everything done on time. Very happy with results. Would recommend to everybody.

We are pleased with the final result. The process took longer than we expected and there were a few surprises along the way, but that's life.

New England Kitchen & Bath did our full kitchen renovation. They were great the whole way through. They worked with us on our budget and material and design decisions. We would have finished right on schedule if not for some decision that we made as things went along. One of those decisions was to pull down the backsplash we had chosen and pick new tiles, which they were incredibly responsive to, coming over that night to remove the tiles before they set. We're very happy with the quality of work, responsiveness, and service. We would definitely use New England Kitchen & Bath again in the future, and probably will when it comes time to tackle the bathroom work.

Our kitchen looks great. NEKB was great to work with. Frank and Abby are great to work with. Abby has opinions and offers them when asked but is not pushy at all. She also understood the concept of and our commitment to a budget. She is a very candid communicator which was very useful in this process. If we had a bad idea, she'd say so. If we didn't like something we said so. All of the subcontractors were super neat and cleaned up each day.

The entire process went smoothly from Frank's first measurement session to Ken's last window trim replacement! Cherie, one of their design consultants, coordinated all the scheduling and ordering for the project. Everything ran on schedule and was completed in a month! She also met with us at their Glastonbury showroom as well as at Universal Tile in Hartford, helping us make design choices. The individual tradespeople with whom they contracted for our project were all craftsmen in their own trades. A shout out to Ken (carpentry), Keith (plumbing), Henry (electrical) and Dimitri (tile work). Not only was their work exceptional, they were all on-time, polite, friendly and respectful of our home. We opted for granite counters which came out beautifully. NEK&B contracts with All Granite & Marble out of Charlton MA. The AG&M technician, who did the measurements for the template, as well as the installers, did an excellent job. The trip to the granite yard, to pick out our slabs, was the only part of the process that was a bit glitchy, but the end result is beautiful. They followed our specifications perfectly. Considering how tight the tolerances are when fitting granite into existing space, the slab cutting process is critical. NEK&B chose a good partner in AG&M. We highly recommend New England Kitchen & Bath.

From the moment we started to work with New England Kitchen & Bath on this project, I knew we had made the right decision. They thought of every necessary option throughout the process and were very easy to work with on a daily basis. Sherry, our designer was very supportive and informative as we made all of the decisions on tiles, colors and plumbing fixtures. She was knowledgeable and I felt that she would not let me make a bad decision. Steve, the carpenter from the team does unparalleled work with incredible attention to detail. And Frank, who owns the business is fun to work with and is the reason we went back to New England Kitchen & Bath after a remodel of our kitchen many years ago. We have a small master bath that still needs updating & we will definitely use New England Kitchen & Bath.

How did it go; simply fantastic!!! Right from the moment we met Frank (the owner) and Cherie (the designer) we liked them. Cherie spent a lot of time with us in the design process. We needed extra expertise since my wife is partially color-blind so choosing colors can be a real challenge. Cherie was up to the challenge. Cherie started with renderings. We went through quite a few iterations of this since we kept changing things. Not a problem at all. The final rendering didn't do the bathroom justice. It looks like it belongs in Home and Garden magazine. Best of all, it feels like we shower in luxury although the fixtures are modest. The part that was amazing to me, is that Cherie went with us to pick out the counter-top, to the plumbing store to pick out fixtures (not a box store), the tile store, and helped us select the appropriate paint colors. This process is more complicated for us because of the color blindness but with Cherie's input everything looks like a magazine cover. All the contractors were top-notch. They were on time, professional, and very receptive to our questions. All of the contractors had many years of experience. This was important in our case because of the house being so old and not everything being plumb and level. They made it look easy even though at times it wasn't. Frank the owner stopped by several times to check progress and make sure things were going OK. A nice personal touch. Bottom line: I hope we have the opportunity to work with them again.

Everything went according to schedule from start to finish. All the sub contractors were on time and came when scheduled and cleaned up after they worked. We were without an operational kitchen for 5 weeks and that was what NEKB stated in the contract.

The process was fairly smooth. They stuck to their time schedule and acted in a professional manner.

This was our first remodel ever and they made the experience painless. We meet a few times to review plans and were able to make changes easily and see new computerized drawings to have a better visual of the proposed renovation. They were not pushy and worked with our budget. Excellent communication and timely service. .

Despite some timing delays incurred, Cherie and her crew were able to adjust and provide results within my very constrained personal time schedule. Her crews (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tile, painting, etc.) were helpful and professional.

Time was spent going to home shows and talking to various kitchen & bath contractors, getting quotes and reviewing pictures of completed jobs. After doing so for about a year, we went back to our first choice, New England Kitchen & Bath as, they provided the most creative options for our kitchen, and in line with our vision and budget! Frank, Abby and the team (John, Ken, Bill and the others) have been great to work with! They are responsive, prompt and thorough with work, and have been reassuring when we've had questions. The entire time the team was on-site, they took very good care of our home, blocking off rooms to keep them clean, accessing through the back & garage so as not to go through the main living area, and cleaning up each day upon leaving. The project started with a wonderful design so, a very special thanks to Abby Kilgore, who presented great options of what our kitchen could potentially be! She made the selection process easy. Based on our input, she'd present options and, we'd make the selection. So easy! We're extremely pleased with our amazing new kitchen, which now has beautiful white cabinets, granite counters and hardwood floor. Best of all, we are now taking advantage of all the available kitchen space! We definitely recommend New England Kitchen & Bath, and would use them again on another project. Both Abby and Frank are easy to work with and really care about the client. They return calls in a timely manner and strive to make you happy. Abby is willing to consult on color choices and design. Her suggestions were very helpful. All the workmen were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and willing to do "extra" if asked. They all arrived when scheduled and cleaned up when the job was complete. Everything was done to perfection. I love the finished product ............ I highly recommend them!

Overall things went really well. Abby provided exceptional advice about the design and I couldn't be happier with how things look. There were a few hiccups because things had been measured incorrectly during the planning, so when we went to order the cabinets we had to rework the design. That was disappointing, but Abby was able to come up with solutions that were just as good (if not better).

It went perfectly with minimal disruption. Not only were all of the workers professional and knowledgeable, but they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make the project as pleasant as possible. They even provided little "extras" which spoke of their personal investment in their work....a quality that is rare these days. Absolutely no reservations recommending New England Kitchen and Bath.....especially Frank and Abby

Abby from New England Kitchen and Bath has been such a huge help in the redesign of my bathroom. She is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, communicative, calm, and creative. There is no question I have asked yet that has been too small or too difficult to answer. She is open to the customer's wants, needs, and ideas, and it is clear from her responses that Abby is a good listener. I have been impressed with not only the kinds of details she thinks of, (that hadn't even occurred to me!), but also the kind of detail she is willing to go into for an estimate or an answer. With Abby in the wings, something as disruptive as a bathroom remodel, that requires multiple balls being in the air at once, is as easy and straightforward as it can possibly be. I can recommend New England Kitchen and Bath with enthusiasm!

Well. The subcontractors were organized very well that we only had 3 days of down time from start to finish. The major part of the project was also done quicker than estimated.

It went extremely well! They were not the least expensive in the estimates we got, but my gut told me to go with them, and I'm so glad we did! Frank and Abby were super helpful and guided us through the whole process. The workers arrived on time and were extremely professional and left the area clean each evening. It looks fantastic! We've had to ask them to come out for minor adjustments, and they were there the next day. I would HIGHLY recommend New England Kitchen & Bath!

Frank and his team are really professional and always receptive to suggestions and ideas--I had used Frank and New England Kitchen and Bath for my kitchen remodel and he did a perfect job--even with repairs, he was always prompt and very professional--because of our great experience with our kitchen, we called him back for our bathrooms.  He was willing to work with his budget and is always great to talk to and very friendly--we will go with him and his company for all our future remodeling needs.
