MAYTAG ACTION LINE APPLIANCE

Always very happy with work done. My freezer worked fine, but the refrigerator's coolness wouldn't go below 65. It was the fan. The repair man said the back panel inside the refrigerator was cooling fine with a small amount of ice on it (which is normal) but the fan wasn't blowing the coolness around the refrigerator. This is my older refrigerator for fruits and vegetables that won't fit in my kitchen refrigerator.

We called Action Appliance the Friday morning before Thanksgiving. There was no way we could prepare the holiday meal in malfunctioning ovens. (There was some procrastination on my part) Jerry came that same afternoon and diagnosed the problem. He ordered the parts with two day delivery and scheduled our next service the day before Thanksgiving. He showed up as promised with an extra pair of hands and they went straight to work. The double oven had to be completely removed from the cabinet in order to access the cooling fans. Jerry was professional and courteous the entire time. And he was relieved when he learned our center island was moveable so he had space to remove the ovens. The repair not only corrected the door locking problem and the overheating, but we also noticed the outside of the oven doesn't get hot to the touch, which it did previously. The cabinet above the oven likewise doesn't get warm. We are very happy with the quick response by Action Appliance, the accurate diagnosis, and the timely and effective repair. They are our go to appliance repair company.

Action Appliance Repair advertises that they have an office in Torrington, CT that repairs appliances, so thats why we called them. Action Appliance Repair was called to check out a non-functioning Bosch built-in microwave oven unit (sits atop a built-in Bosch oven). The technician examined the unit on 11/14/2012 and ordered parts. He requested 50% deposit, which was $288.20 which covered parts. Four weeks later on 12/10/12, another technician returned (scheduled appointment) with the parts. The technician was to arrive in the early afternoon, but did not arrive until almost 6 pm.  When he arrived, he looked at the microwave, and then said that the previous technician had "ordered a bunch of parts without doing any diagnostic tests."
He then asked for the microwave repair manual. He looked at this for a few minutes. He stated that he really was not sure what was wrong. Then he proceeded to tell me that since "he was tired and it was too late" and could not continue the appointment. This was very frustrating. The technician took the m/w back to the shop for repair and. It was returned two weeks later after scheduling difficulties.

THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK. THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO DISAPPOINT ME. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, AND VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY NEEDS. THEY DIDN'T KEEP ME WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO COME OUT TO MY HOME.
