They were competitive price-wise. The salesman was very knowledgeable and they had a wide selection, that's why I bought from there.

lousy, two days before they started they called me 3 times to tell me they would be here at 10 am and there would be either 1 or 3 men here. While it got annoying to have them call me 3 times about the same thing, I didn't say anything.  But low and behold, when they did start there were 2 men, not  the 1 or 3 that they said.  Again, I didn't say anything but it made me wonder if they knew what they were doing.
At all times they told me they would be here at 10 am.  Wrong, they showed up at 8:30 am!
After the men were here a while, they asked me to turn off the water at the kitchen sink.  Simple enough but the didn't speak English.  It took me 5 minutes to figure out what they wanted.  Later on, it looked like there were skipping and not doing part of the cabinets, when I asked I couldn't figure out what they were saying.  After lunch, they asked me if they could leave their tools in the garage until the next day.  Sure, no problem except it took me time standing there to figure out what they wanted.
And I wasn't the only one that couldn't understand them!  Later on, they asked my spouse to open the garage door for them and he told me it took him time to figure out what they were saying and he understood why I was getting frustrated.
When I was with the salesman, he told me a supervisor would be checking in on how things were going.  I waited all day and no supervisor!  So the second day I called Home Depot and after being put on hold for 7 minutes (timed) I was able to speak with a supervisor and things went from frustratingly bad to total disaster!  First off he said there was never a supervisor to check up on things and started to argue with me about what I was told!
When I was able to tell him my concerns about the way the job was getting done, he agreed to come out, but I would have to wait till next week.  There was no one else that would come out.  When I pitched a b****, he said he would make a few phone calls and get back to me.  He called later on and said he would be out at 11:30 am.  When I said I had a doctors, appointment, he said there was nothing he could do.  So I told him I would cancel my doctors appointment just to meet him.  Can you imagine how I felt when he showed up at 10 am!  I was so ticked off that I had to cancel my doctor's appointment to meet him and he didn't show up when I expected.    I don't like getting lied to!
When he got here he walks in, and offers to shake hands.  I had no idea who he was or why he was here!   had to ask him who he was before he told me who he was,  He then  said let's go in the kitchen and I can show/tell him my concerns.  Great, except he would never let me show him all my concerns.  He kept on interrupting with excuses.  I said to him, you asked what was wrong and to shut up and let me show/tell him.  After that encounter which only made me madder and madder.  I asked him when the sink would be put in so I could make arrangements with the plumber.  He said and pointed out on the contract that it might take 5 days and it would be finished up in accordance with the contract.
At that point I told him, he was useless and I told him to leave my house.  I had asked to speak with his supervisor and was told his supervisor was on vacation and there was no one else to talk to.  Immediately, I felt suspicious -- I'm always suspicious of any one that tells me there's no supervisor and no one else I can talk to (except may the owner of a company)!
About an hour later, I had calmed down and called him and tried to talk to him.  I told him right off that he was not to say anything, not to interrupt me and to just listen.  After I shared my second concern, he interrupted me again and I told him point blank bluntly to shut up, put on his listening ears and just listen.
He refused to listen to me and let me express my concerns and constantly interrupted me.  After 20 minutes, I said to him, I was hanging up and to have his boss call me.
He actually had the nerve to call me 5 minutes later and I told him I wasn't going to let him aggravate and me and annoy me any more that I was hanging up and to have his boss call me.
The job still isn't done, the works are still working.  I have no idea how it will turn out, except I did hear him tell them to do whatever I wanted.  He never said that to me!
The entire problem was caused by workers who could not speak English.  If I could speak with them and know I was understood, there would be no problem.  The last thing I needed was an argument with the supervisor about whether or not they could speak English.  If I can't understand them and not sure if they can understand me, then they can not communicate in English!
I will never have Home Depot workers do anything in my house again.  The salesman told me they were Home Depot and not outside contractors!  I know Lowe's also does kitchen cabinet refacing, RUN FROM HOME DEPOT AND GO TO LOWES and give them a shot!

THE MATERIALS THEY PROVIDED WERE A PROBLEM. COUNTERS CAME SCRATCHED AND THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE THEM. PIECES WERE MISSING FROM CABINETS. INSTALLERS WERE LATE BUT RESPONSIVE.

It was very reasonable. Most places charge $2 and up for each one thousandth (.001) of diamond blade wear on top of the tool rental. At the Glastonbury Home Depot tool rental, they charge a flat fee of $35 for the diamond blade no matter how much diamond wears off. I ended up cutting about 220 feet of four inch thick concrete for about a hundred bucks. It was well worth it. Beware, other Home Depot Rental departments use the .001 wear method to calculate rental costs. It can get very expensive.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I WOULD USE SOMEONE ELSE. A SMALLER COMPANY THAT IS MORE CONSCIENTIOUS ABOUT THEIR WORK. IT TOOK LONGER FOR MY CABINETS TO COME IN THAN IT SHOULD HAVE, AND THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS NOT THAT GOOD.

THE PROBLEM WE HAD WAS WITH THE INSTALLERS AS WE NEEDED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THEM. THEIR PRICE IS REASONABLE. THEY DID VACUUM, & LEAVE THE CARPET NEAT & CLEAN.
