GENERAL LANDSCAPING

We used another company that was rated "A" last year on angies list. Really not happy with the results...so we found General Landscaping, and we are SOOOO happy we did. We spent, with the OTHER "A" company last year over $75,000 dollars. We are NOT happy with that company. HOWEVER, General Landscaping is and was WONDERFUL. We replaced 50% of the plants, etc. by the OTHER "A" rated company, for many reasons including plants dying, not right for area, etc. General Landscaping came to the rescue...replacing the 50%, adding additional landscaping, etc. I DO NOT understand their "B" rating, which is NOT acceptable or correct. They should be A++. The owner, which we were never told he was on site (except by his workers) worked hand in hand alongside his employees. Their employees were professional, hard working and GREAT; which we did not find with the "A" rated company. We would NOT HESITATE to recommend General Landscaping for professionalism, PRICE (Half the "A" other company), and their workers!!! Love this Company!!!

Called for a quote and they had a person out in a couple of days to review the work I wanted done. They provided me with a written quote shortly and after accepting the quote we scheduled the timing of the work. I was not present when most of the work was actually done but was very happy with the result. The grading of the yard, planting of grass and placement of the shrubs was exactly as I had wanted and I would not change anything.

I have been using General Landscaping for about 3 years. I would recommend them in a minute. We use them to maintain our grounds, they edge around the driveway nad beds, trim shrubs, remove weeds, mulch every other year, remove dead branches and general cleanup of all beds. The grounds look prestine when they leave. They work fast, never seen them take a break, workers are friendly and easy to talk to. I mostly correspond via email, with any special requests I might have therefore I do not have to be home when they come. They come when they say, very reliable. Their billing shows the breakdown of their charges and their prices are competetive. Very professional. Other than general maintenance I cannot comment.

General did an excellent job overall. They performed the work that they stated that they would in a timely fashion.

For removing the fallen branches, they quoted me $1600, but charged me only $1400 because the job did not cost as much as they thought it would. The workers worked very hard and followed all the proper safety procedures.

Great job - I have used General Landscaping several times over the years (before I belonged to Angie's List) and they always deliver quality at a reasonable price. Paul in particular has always been very responsive.
