Was charged over $600 to fix a leak. Tech was confident the leak was fixed and it would last another couple of years. Unfortunately, he was wrong and the refrigerant leaked out within 36 hours. The tech was very nice and helpful but Degree refused to the right thing and refund me since their technician was wrong. Giant waste of money. Also they are NOT Angi approved nor BBB accredited as they state on their website- I have left reviews everywhere to get the truth out about how horrible their customer service is.

They are excellent and are very friendly and nice people. I have been using them for about 12 years and I would highly recommend them.

They told me step by step what they were going to do and what the cost associated with each step was. Nothing came out of left field. They were able to get me another summer out of this old unit!

Very professional and honest. Gave some good points on conserving energy and how to monitor my boiler. Will be hiring them again to install ductless air conditioners soon.

Degree was fabulous. From the scheduling, price and work effort, everything went great. Everyone was very professional, timely and clean. They explained everything clearly and were all very pleasant and professional to work with. They got the job done earlier than expected and left the furnace area spotless, even cleaner that it was before the installation. I would recommend Degree to anyone.

They are an outstanding group. I have met 5 or 6 of them during my various interactions and installations. They are clean, prompt, courteous, competitively priced, provide good equipment, and are extremely honorable. If you have a question or a problem, they are there for you. I called their project manager, Mike Z, at 9:00 PM one night and her had people there by noon the following day. Their commitment to service is extraordinary!

It went great.  They were in and out in about 6 hours and were very, very friendly and professional.  That weekend I noticed the pipe leading into the condensation pump was clogged.  They had someone out within an hour of my call, on a weekend, they sent a tech out.  The PVC was plugged with detritus from the old removed coil - the tech blew it out and installed a rubber coupling which allows me to work with it really easily in the future.  No charge for the after hours service call.  Great folks.

Job took 2 days in total and the workers were a pleasure -- they were clean and courteous and did a great job. The went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and that all of our questions were answered.  Would definitely hire again.

Found this provider on Agie's List for my parents. Owner himself came to house, checked existing situation, explained what they would do, and submitted a timely quote.  Price was about $6k ($2k below competitor) to replace entire unit (condenser, evaporator, blower, lines).  Staff was professional (owner, office staff on phone, and site crew), arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves.  Unit has performed well since installation (though AC not needed much since then).  Very satisfied/no complaints so far.

Went well.  The tech diagnosed the issue, left for an hour to get parts, returned and completed the job.

My experience with Degree was excellent from timely quotes and explanation of scope of work at the start of the process to the very professional and on time workers going beyond what was agreed in contract to make sure the heaters operated correctly and safely.

I've had various HVAC contractors work on our system over the years.  I have had no complaints with any, but Degree took care of everything in one visit, unlike my experience with other contractors.  Degree performed the standard HVAC maintenance; diagnosed and fixed a vent that did not work in the master bedroom; and installed programmable digital thermostats for each of the two heating/cooling zones in our house.  The technician did not have the required thermostat in his van, but rather than schedule another appointment (like what has happened with other companies only to have those appointments never materialize), the technician went to get the part and came back and installed the thermostats all during the same visit.

This was a hugh job and did take longer than they projected for the work.  Other than the extended time frame, we were completely satisfied woth the work.  The service personnel were very courteous to all our residents, and cleaned up well atter each day's work.  They immediately responded to any problem and fixed it, no questions asked.  We will continue to work with them to maintain the systems we have installed.

Degree has saved us on many occasions - from the first time I called them at 5PM on a Friday right before a snowstorm many years ago. This review was a result of a review of our HVAC system. We could not get warm air into our daughter's room for many years. Degree proposed a solution which included installation of dampers (as well as a few other system fixes not included in this review). They have always been extremely responsive, and this experience was no different. The technician (I think his name is Jay) was really knowledgeable and helpful. And now our daughter's room is warm! The high efficiency filter was also a great addition - only need to change it once every 9 months or so and really good for a family with allergies. Their prices not the lowest (you do get what you pay for) and certainly not the highest, but I think they are fair for the work that they do.
