Another time he charged $400 to seed a small area of lawn. I thought he would provide topsoil to do this as well as remove all the weeds. Not so. When I questioned him, he said grass seed was expensive. Again I doubt that he spent more than 30 minutes on this and made a killing.
He charges $55 to plow and another $55 to come back the same time to plow plus additional money to shovel. He charged me an exhorbitant amount for the big snowstorm last year and again I thought he outrageously padded his hours.
I find sometimes that the more decent you are (paying bills on time, being courteous, not complaining) the worse people treat you.
