 + -1 moreThey came very quickly and they are very responsive but we are a little bit wondering about the charge with the work done which was basically just get the tree down and we're just wondering why we were over charged that we never did follow up on it. They did get the tree down, we didn't want them to cut or anything like that. They were very responsive. Their service was very good but I guess there's an issue with their price.
Description of Work: We did use Knapp Tree Inc. for a small job. They took down some trees after the hurricane that we had.

 + -1 moreThe contractor e-mailed copies of their worker's compensation and general liability insurance policies, as requested. They finished all tree takedowns on the same day, using plywood sheets to prevent furrowing of the lawn by their trucks. All branches up to about 6and quot; were chipped and the tree trunks were cut into 18and quot; long segments as requested, with two of the trees left on site for later splitting by me for firewood. The personnel returned a day or two later to remove all truck sections not desired by me and they cleaned up the area. They dropped no materials onto the roof, though two of the trees overhung the house. My only complaint? The owner promised to have his guys remove debris that had accumulated in my gutters over the years - but I think he failed to communicate that to his crew and it was not done. I've now used this firm on 3 occasions over the years and never had a significant complaint.
Description of Work: 4 trees were removed - 2 very large (60 -75 foot) specimens very near the house and two smaller ones at a greater distance. Two of the trees were climbed to take them down in sections, while the two others were cut down using a bucket truck. All branches were chipped and hauled away as was the wood from 2 of the 4 trees (I asked for the rounds to be left for my later use as firewood).

 + -1 moreTHEY'RE EXPENSIVE. WHEN THEY WERE THROUGH WITH THE JOB THEY LEFT A VERY EXPENSIVE DRILL ON THE FRONT LAWN WHICH I HAD TO PICK UP AND RETURN TO THEM.
Description of Work: THEY PUT RESTRAINING WIRES BETWEEN THE LIMBS ON A TREE THAT WAS VULNERABLE TO HIGH WINDS.
