Overall, a miserable experience. I hate to say it, but I'm left with no choice. It started off great - outstanding ideas, with quality products and fixtures. The problem was the execution. A two week project took over 4 months! All the tile (floor and shower) was installed incorrectly. Required town inspections were not performed. Liens were threatened against me from subcontractors even though I paid every dollar to Phillips Design on time. And we found out he didn't even have a current license! A total misrepresentation. It was a horrible experience. To his credit, he fixed what he could. Fast forward to today - we are left with a pretty good bathroom. But the feeling I get when I'm in there brings back terrible memories...

Good. Stanley (the owner) was great with design ideas, and very respectful of our budget. Some things that needed to be fixed after the job, and the whole process took a little longer than initially quoted (don't they all) but totally stuck to budget, had good design ideas, very polite and efficient crew. The only pain in the neck was the subcontractor who did the drywall taping - his work wasn't the greatest, but he did fix the worst bits and overall it looks great.
