Arrow Window Home Improvement Co
About us
Arrow Window & Awning company is run by Jeff Michaelson. The company was started in 1946 and was taken over by his father, Elliott Michaelson in 1956. Elliot instilled in Jeff the importance of customer service. In the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, Arrow did a brisk business in storm doors, fixed awnings and siding. Business started changing, and in 1987 Arrow Window introduced retractable awnings from Toff Industries and Eastern Awning. These quality products are 100% American made and are made right here in Connecticut.

Jeff Michaelson so he could give us his input on what we would do best
with in each room on style and color, we also needed block out shades in the bedrooms.
We had two sliding doors to cover etc. He was at our condo on time, very
professional, had a large supply of colors, styles so we could actually
hold up the product to see if we liked it. Once he helped us decide we
signed on to have it done. The job was done quickly and perfectly. It
came out perfect in every room I wish we had it done years ago, they
look so good, so easy to use and the block out shades were wonderful.
The shades are used daily and look the same as the day they were put in.
The most amazing thing is recently one of our bedroom shade rope pulls had broken, we called Jeff and asked him to come out and fix it, he came the very day we called on time as usual and he fixed the broken on as well as replace the other one as he felt the rope looked a little frayed. When I got out my check book he said "no charge", I was stunned where ever would you hear in this day and age a business man say that. I more than recommend having Jeff do any window treatments required as you will get a business man who stands totally behind his work and word that is not very common anymore in businesses he is very impressive.
