He had so much work to do since the piano had not been tuned for quite some time. He did a wonderful job.

Jim's response to my Angie's list request was prompt. On the day of the appointment he was on time, courteous, and did a great job taking care of our grand piano. I personally don't play, so i didn't know a piano could be taken apart and put back together like that. It was like watching a surgical intervention! I found Jim's online scheduling tool easy to use. You just request an open time, specify the service, click, and get what you ordered. A lot like Uber Eats except for pianos. ;-)

It went much better than I had expected! Jim was able to get my piano closer to pitch than I thought possible given the condition it was in. It will need some time to adjust and I'll need to play it for a few months and then we'll ask Jim to return to nudge it further. He was professional and patient and helped me get past my embarrassment/regret for not taking good care of my old piano.

Fantastic! Jim called and setup an appointment within one hour of signing up thru Angie 's List. When he came he let us know everything that needed to be done since the piano is 112 years old and has not been tuned for over ten years since it was in storage. Tuned the piano and Jim impressed us with his professional manner.

See above... all but one issue was fixed, but the piano sounds great now.

Jim arrived exactly on time. He tuned the piano and even fixed a part that had become loose so that we could use the pedals (no charge). He was very knowledgeable and professional. We would definitely hire him again.
