Simply the best. Honest, reliable and caring. Top notch service at a fair price! Forget the high priced dealers with their BS charges and fees. You won't ever be disappointed! They always perform beyond expectations every single visit. They truly love what they do and it shoes. David and John are the best!

They were very professional and attentive. The diagnostic was fast and the repair great, even the clutch pedal feels like a new car. I had the clutch "changed" by someone else before but they just did everything wrong and took my money. I'll definitely return for any other service and will recommend them to all my friends.

Excellent service- they went above and beyond. The "Check Battery" light had come on in my vehicle and I had called in the morning to ask if they had availability to research it. John said they were backed up and would need until the afternoon but instead he was able to quickly diagnose and replace the malfunctioning indicator within a couple hours. His assessment of the cause of the issue was on point- he identified the source of what was wrong and corrected it. He didn't attempt to tack on additional services/maintenance that my vehicle didn't need to jack up the bill, unlike most- if not all- of the other service centers I have dealt with in the past. He even picked me up at the nearby coffee shop where I had been waiting after the service was completed. I'll definitely be using them again. A+

I have exclusively used Fairfield Automotive Service for many years now. They have kept my 24 year old Buick in great running order. I would imagine it is a challenge at times,, but they certainly know what they are doing when they work on it., as it comes back to me running like a new car ! I feel they are honest with their prices, and they stand behind all their work 100 % I cannot say a single negative thing about Ffld. Automotive Service or it's good natured owners. I have recommended Fairfield Automotive to other people and they feel the same as I do. Very satisfied.

Very prompt and professional. Our car had been sluggish and needed a thorough check-up, and while a little on the pricey side we were very satisfied overall. It's difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic but we've had excellent luck with Fairfield Automotive. We'll be bringing our cars back and would recommend them without reservation.

Very prompt in doing the service before doing the work they give you a call and the estimated price. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. I would use them again and I have recommended the service to others.

I recently moved to the area and looked for an alternative to a dealer for service. I needed a 36k maintenance visit for my Volvo wagon, and was looking for a quality but more cost-effective option. Fairfield Auto was well-reviewed and I called to discuss my needs. One of the owners explained the services they offer and I felt comfortable moving forward. I got on the schedule and they performed the maintenance check, replaced a couple minor things - cabin filter etc. - and all went well. They were friendly and the cost was more reasonable than the dealer. I'm not sure if it was exactly $250, but more or less close to that amount. This was in contrast to Volvo's $425 fee at the Westport dealer.

I am usually able to get right in. I'm generally happy with their service, except they are a bit pricey. I will continue to use their services in the future.

What really impressed me about Fairfield Automotive Services is that this happened on Father's Day and one of the owners was willing to delay a fishing trip with his son to work on my car. I had told him I needed to go to Vermont to see my father, who had cancer and this man was nice enough to do the work. Then, what was even more impressive, is that he wouldn't take any payment for the work. I think they're great.
