As a new homeowner I occasionally feel like a fish out of water. We purchased a fixer upper with the intentions of taking the potential and making it into a home. Quickly we discovered a wide array of electrical issues that needed tweaking. We were at a loss. I was referred to Brian Howard by word of mouth and decided to give him a try to quote us on some work. It was one of the best decisions I have made as a homeowner. Brian is personable and makes the intimidation of home renovations feel less daunting. He doesn't beat around the bush and breaks things down in terms that help you understand exactly what he needs to do, what it will take and very realistic expectations of what kind of process it is. In a competitive industry too often you find those who promise big and deliver small. Brian Howard is straight to the point and doesn't mislead you. He is reasonable, honest, professional and truly a treat to work with. When working with Brian you can tell this is a guy who values his work, his name and his reputation. You know when you call it is him at the end of the line ready to answer any questions. For a small business Brian will no doubt make a big name for himself. I don’t usually write reviews but Brian Howard from Brian Howard and Sons Electric LLC has gone out of his way and done countless work for me over the years. The first reason I chose Brian is he is Licensed, Certified and Insured. I Property Manage a Couple Properties in Fairfield and New Haven Counties and Brian is my go to guy for anything Electric. Over the years, he has done Service Changes, installed outlets, recess lighting, fans, helped me troubleshoot faulty fuses and bad GFI’s and helped me wire a kitchen and bathroom remodel and much more. Brian is a must add to your contact list for anything Electric. He is Polite, Professional, Punctual, easy to reach and does clean work! Brian is also very reasonable and isn’t going to beat around the bush with you. He will help you understand the process and scope of work and when he is done you will know you made the right choice in an Electrician and most likely you will be calling him again in the future just like me!
