I called up All American Appliance and they were able to come out the following day to determine the issue. The next day the repair guy diagnosed and said it could be either the thermistor or control panel. Both would need to be ordered and he would order both just in case. The control panel he warned would be about $100 more than the thermistor. He said the parts would be in in two days. True to his word, they were and the following days he came out and tried the thermistor first. That fixed the washer and we were and are still good to go.

Part not in stock. When it arrived and old part was taken out, repairman saw no sign of damage. New part installed and machine now works well. Examined old part and found blockage in one section that was easily cleaned. Don't know if this was affecting operation.

First he put in an outdated part then was told by someone over the phone to put in a more updated part so it took longer and I believe I was charged for extra time because of their error. My bill did not reflect a breakdown of the actual cost of the part or the labor rate.

They were very nice about it and recommended that we look for a new oven. I have also used them for several jobs in the past.

Terrible.   First they did not have correct part so they ordered it. It took about 4 weeks for them to return after repeated phone calls. They came back but realized they ordered the incorrect part so they left again to reorder it.  They came back again 2 weeks later and supposedly repaired the dryer.  When the tenants called after All American's last visit to tell me the dryer was still not working I lost my cool.  My poor tenants had just had a baby too so they really needed that dryer to be functional asap.  I ended up getting someone in 2 days later who fixed the dryer and showed me that All American had not even attached the part inside the dryer.   If they had just tested the dryer before they left they would have know that it did not work.

I have used them for years.  They have always been punctual, honest and fair priced.  I feel confident calling them when an appliance needs repair.

FIrst contacted them to fix my dryer, which was not getting heat. They arrived at the appointment late, and told me I needed three parts at 400.00 in order to fix the dryer. I asked if I could see if I could get the parts cheaper, and asked if it was worth it to fix the dryer or to switch to electric (a regular dryer wont fit down my stairs) and buy a new one. They said it was my decision, and it was fine to see if I could find them cheaper. I found them for 250.00 so thought it was worth it to move forward. Four months and numerous calls later (they dont return calls even when calls are made to their cell phones) , my dryer is still not fixed, and they are telling me just TODAY I need to pay an additional 500.00 for an additional part in order to fix the appliance. Absolutely horrible experience, will never use them again.

The job went well; representative arrived when he said he would, and the dryer was fixed within two days' time.

They told us that it would be a relatively minor repair. It took them over a week to fix it, in the meantime we didn't have a dryer to use. When they came back to fix the unit they wound up breaking something else within the unit and tried to charge us to fix that. We wound up refusing to pay them anything and had to buy a new washer and dryer because they messed it up so much.

THEY WERE GOOD, BUT TIME FRAME FOR WAITING FOR PARTS WAS SLOW. THEY WERE GOOD ABOUT FINDING THE PARTS AND RESPONDING. THE MAN WHO DID THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY HELPFUL AS FAR AS EXPLAINING WHAT HE WAS DOING AND WHAT WE NEEDED. HE WAS TIDY AND QUICK.
