Essex Veterinary Clinic

Been using this vet for yrs -it is part of Pieper-Olsen in Middletown which i did drive to before the opened this one closer to where i live. Vets,staff are excellent and accommodating,very professional and Dr.Olsen reviews w/his staff. I will say that the staff has trouble frequently w/their computers being slow and checking out/paying when you leave can take awhile. I highly recommend and would go nowhere else

Our cat Amanda started acting very funny all of a sudden (she stopped eating, lost energy) and so we called Essex. They guided us in diagnosing her condition as something that they should take a look at. They were available even off hours for our questions, which was awesome. Once we brought her in, they performed a suite of diagnostics on her. They then found that she had some obstructions in her bladder, so they kept her for a few days to observe and treat her. Throughout the process, the staff and doctors were really helpful and gave us regular updates on how Amanda was doing. They took very good care of her and helped our peace of mind during her stay at the facility. For the amount of care provided, the price was very reasonable (but we sure hope Amanda stays healthy for a long time...).

I have owned many cats and dogs over the yrs.They all got dental ,vaccines ,baths.Dr.Olsen runs a tight ship and has very high standards. You can always call or email him in Middletown if need be.They also have specialists and gd equipment -cant say enough. Sometimes checking out can take awhile.

The care was really good; the staff very nice; the building clean and modern. They are very convenient to get to. Everyone seems to be very caring and understanding. I will continue to use them in the future.
