Precision Camera

So they got my package and I assumed started working on it, 4 days later I called to check on the status only to find out they didn’t know they had received it. When they did actually find it they reached out to me with pics of how damaged the box was it was in (200-600mm by the way in the original bright orange box) and they said I should file a claim Well when I went to do so I had to let Sony file a claim because they are the ones that sent me the label, and Sony called, emailed them or they said they did I can’t believe either one of them they lie so much Well so Sony says they called precision camera and they were told it all good? Ok so why did they tell me it wasn’t So I called Sony/precision camera, and fed ex to try to resolve this issue nobody will do anything And why send pics to put those images in my head if nothing was going to be fixed Then they finally got done with it and then missed the shipping truck on a Friday so now it was going to ship Monday Well Sony wanted pics on Monday so Now another delay. I ask why they didn’t approve that hold up with me ( you know the actual owner/customer to make that decision?? I had to explain to them that Sony has no say in what happens to my property

It is a mail-in service. It was a standard price. You type in the information online and they give you an estimate. If you agree with it, you go ahead and send it in and they return it. The main thing is the convenience. It's very easy to do. I knew before I even sent it in how much I was going to have to pay to get it fixed. I have used them twice.

I am a professional wedding photographer and needed my main camera repaired CANON 1DMARKIIN. My camera was with PRECISION CAMERA for over 50 days. It was sitting waiting for parts for over 4 weeks. I keep e-mailing and calling trying to get a status the the ETA for parts. The would not answer my e-mails. When I called and finally contacted someone after numerous attempts they said they would e-mail and or call me back. They never did. This call and lack of a return call happened 3 times. I finally get an e-mail that my camera is being sent back without being repaired because they can't get an ETA on parts. They suggested I go through Canon since they might be able to get the parts required to fix my camera.

Precision Camera received and analyzed the camera. They informed us via email that our part was under warranty with Sony and that they were forwarding the camera to Sony for repair. They had the camera shipped to Sony, fixed and sent back to us all at no cost to us under warranty. We didn't even know that it was still under warranty and were surprised and very pleased.

The work was fast and they did it within 10 minutes.

Easy drop off and pick-up. I will use them again in future.
