In 1939, Alexander S. Miller founded the Miller Oil Company to serve the heating needs of the Enfield, Connecticut area. Alexander was later joined in the business by his son, James R. Miller Sr. Today, Alexander's grandsons, James R., Jr. and Charles H. Miller, continue to operate the company. They have recently been joined by James' son, Douglas J. Miller - the fourth generation of the Miller family. Miller Oil Company is a full-service oil heat specialist, providing automatic delivery of fuel, 24-hour emergency service, installation and service of heating and cooling equipment, a choice of service plans, and several payment programs with discount and price protection options. Miller Oil Company has been keeping the people of north central Connecticut comfortable for more than 60 years.
