Techs were friendly and professional.

Around 1AM on New Years Eve day our dog alerted us to a smell of hot electric motor coming through the heater vents. While my husband tried to isolate the problem (a failing furnace blower motor) I frantically called almost every HVAC company in the area. The temperature outside was -2 with the wind chill and our 150 year old home had already dropped to 56 degrees. Despite speaking to 7 different answering services, Homestead’s on-call technician not only returned our call within minutes, but was the only company to call us back. In addition, Homestead’s technician, Matt Minor, agreed to come and assess the problem immediately, even though it was 3:30AM and no one was sure it could ultimately be repaired the same day. Matt replaced the capacitor and magically heat returned. However, as he was walking out the door, the motor seized. Rather than tell us, “See you in a few days...I tried…”, he not only attempted to use the “rescue” motor he had in the truck, but he drove all the way back to the shop to get a brand-new one of the correct voltage. Matt was even willing to bring back heaters if he couldn’t repair the motor immediately. Despite almost 4 hours of work in the middle of the night, Matt persisted and by 8AM the furnace was working and heat had returned! My husband and I were TREMENDOUSLY impressed with Matt! To think we received this service and weren’t previously Homestead customers. It is safe to say we will be Homestead customers for life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Matt and Homestead went above and beyond!

John and Tyler were friendly, professional and easy to work with. They removed the old tape, installed a new one and installed better insulation over the pipe than the previous vendor had used. I plan on using them for my next plumbing project.

They are fantastic - professional, organized, clean up after themselves. Helped secure financing through special program.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Job was very professional and workers were very neat. We interviewed six companies and Homestead was the absolute best of them alll. Highly recommend.

My Central AC unit died the night before. They were able to schedule me in for later in the day but then called and were able to move me up in the day's schedule (which I appreciated since it was over 90 out). They called when the technician, Willie, was on his way. Willie was nice and very professional. He explained what happened, gave me the options to fix my old AC unit, and then fixed it quickly. AC is now working and I would consider using them again.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Jeff Gerber came out and gave us a detailed and thorough estimate including everything we would need to have done. He explained everything well and was professional. We knew when the work would start and how long the job would take. The installation crew was on time and efficient. They contracted others to do some painting and sheet rocking to replace an old attic fan and they were fabulous as well. The work was seamless and they left the house clean! They explained everything along the way and were able to answer any questions we had with ease. We felt that we were able to trust them, trust their recommendations, and the work that they did. They cleaned up after the days' work and left the house livable for our two year old twins! We were super impressed by their work and their professional demeanor. We would highly recommend them and would use them again in a heart beat if we ever needed anything they specialized in. Nicely done gentlemen! We are enjoying our central A/C in this heat wave! Excellent service - they came out quickly even thou I called at the end of the day. Will, the person who came, was excellent. He was kind, and very professional. He provided a quote, and did exactly as stated. He wasn't rushed and gave us confidence in the job, and the company. Will use them again!

The whole crew was really great to work with. They helped me pick out the right humidfier for the job and were able to quickly come up with solutions to problems we ran into. Humidifier has been running about 45 days now and works great! Would definitely recommend!

Salesman was excellent and very helpful.  Workmen were polite, clean, and professional.  They cleaned up after themselves and answered all questions.   The office was also helpful in getting us Energize CT rebates and financing.  Thrilled with operation of units.  I know it's been a warm Fall, but we haven't turned on our oil burner yet this year.  No reservations, I would contact and us them again.

He was very friendly and knowledgable about his job. He showed me what he was doing and explained it to me as well. When I simply asked him to look at the second toilet, which was not scheduled, he was happy to... Glad he did and he fixed it correctly, unlike the people that lived in our house previously!!
