+ -1 moreHeads up if you are looking for a reputable contractor or company. I'd steer clear of Rob Golden, who is affiliated with Gerber Construction Company in Ellington. I hired Rob to work on my old horse arena in April. It was a project I had been saving up for, about 8 years and I was over-joyed to get it done. I was assured I would be happy and I trusted his word and paid him. After about 10 weeks of half-hearted work, disgraceful communication, not showing up, excuse after excuse, I hired Desiatos out to quote me for the remainder of work needing to be finished. I learned the job was poorly done and will need to be restarted. He will not answer my texts, removed his equipment off my property without saying a word, and walked away from the job. I'm not a hard person to please, in fact, anyone questioning is welcome to come on over and share a beer with me and I can give you a tour of the ****** job he did. Maybe you can actually make me laugh about it, and then it will make me feel a little better.
