Description of Work: Replaced original steel entry door with fiber glass door with side lights and storm door. The new door failed in 3 months because the fiberglass door jamb caught on the lock striker plate which was left raised and broke the edge of the door jamb. Feather River, the manufacturer, covered the door under warranty and Home Depot who sold me the door and installation covered the labor costs. Exterior Assoc. Home Depot's installer replaced the damaged fiberglass door slab which they originally installed. So far so good but Ext. Assoc. has commented that the new Feather River fiberglass door fits a bit too tightly and may stick and fail when it heats up in the summer. Disconcerting to say the least. Home Depot and Feather River have both been very responsive.

+ -1 moreThe pre-hung door installations were performed really well. The team was professional and cleaned up work areas very nicely when they finished. The new doors all look great. Two areas for improvement: 1) I realized, after the install, that one of the team members forgot to install the strike plate for one of the deadbolts (an easy fix that I took care of myself); 2) the replacement door, not a pre-hung door, was planed in error at the top when the root cause wasn't an out of square frame, it was due to the top hinge not being secured tightly enough to the door frame. It's a minor issue, barely noticeable in its location, and I straightened it out with a quick sanding to even it out. Despite the minor hiccups, the doors and trim are fantastic (they even fixed a problem with the closer on the front screen door), and I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Exterior Associate installed three pre-hung doors (front entryway door, fire-rated garage to basement door, and exterior garage passage door) and one replacement door with pet door. They also re-hung the front screen door after installing the front door. Cost included all materials, and the project was purchased and arranged through Home Depot.

From start to finish they made the experience an absolute positive and stress free experience. They developed a plan that met all of our needs but left room for our specific preferences and opinions. They were always on time, respectful, clean and professional. They exceeded all of our expectations and the end result was a beautiful redone basement complete with a full bath. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and I would gladly recommend/use them again!
Description of Work: We used Exterior Associates for an entire basement renovation. They converted our walkout basement into a beautiful mud room, bathroom, office and playroom/den.

Everything was handled with ease. Workers were neat, unobtrusive, and punctual. Job was completed on time, and well within budget.
Description of Work: 10x13 room addition on back of second floor, raised ranch. Modify existing deck and exterior wall.
