Walsh Woodworks built our custom inset kitchen cabinets and island in 2015 and seven years later (with lots of daily use and family life) they are just as beautiful. Brendan is a joy to work with and brought expert recommendations to my specific ideas for kitchen design. His craftsmanship and attention to detail is without match. The kitchen cabinets are one of my favorite things in our house.

When we built our home in 2018 we interviewed several custom cabinetmakers in our area. We chose Walsh Woodworks to build all the cabinetry in our bathrooms, kitchen, pantry, laundry room & closets. Brendan was amazing to work with. We found him when we wanted a custom stereo cabinet built and loved his work so much that when we designed our dream kitchen we knew he was the guy to build our custom cabinets and island. The deck repair and refinishing was done on time and for a fair price.

It worked out fine. They were done in 2 hours. It was easy to find them and scheduling them was pretty easy.

Brendan and his team did a fantastic job for us. The window seats are just beautiful. He matched or existing paint colors perfectly. Brendan is a true professional. He is very knowledgeable and skilled, communicates very well, delivers on time, with the price he quoted and with excellent quality. He truly works to exceed the customers expectations. He went above and beyond to solve my cabinet ventilation problem with the most cost effective solution that minimized my cost and modifications to my cabinet. When part of the job took more time than he originally planned he did not ask me for more money, he stuck to his original quote. It is rare to find a skilled craftsman these days who is so professional and customer oriented.. Brendan will be doing all of my cabinet/furniture/fine woodwork in the future.

Excellent! He arrived earlier, got right to work. Completed all the work fast, and I even paid him for some overtime to get two extra projects knocked out. Will hire again!

Brendan is an outstanding craftsmen who does excellent work. He is responsive and easy to work with. I will hire him again when I need carpentry work done.

This is not their specialty, but they did a good job to make sure cabinets were level and secure and that the hardware was in proper alignment. Drawers were not completely aligned across multiple cabinet boxes, but again, this is not their specialty.

The work went fantastic. Everything is level and cut perfectly. Driver showed up on time and took his time to make sure the work was done correctly. Definitely will use them again when I go to put trimming on the walls upstairs.

I purchased a 3 hours of labor deal and the work was done well, but they seemed to move very slowly. I did not extend to more work with them because I felt they dragged their feet and did about an hours worth of work in 3. The work itself was fine.

Brendan was a pleasure to work with. He has outstanding attention to detail. This was our first kitchen remodel and he was patient and responsive in explaining the process from beginning to end. He also has an excellent sense of design and went above and beyond in helping us make decisions about other elements of the kitchen (backsplash, pendant lights, etc.) that would work well with the Shaker cabinets we chose. He designed a kitchen island for us that has truly made the kitchen the heart of the home. He is painstaking about getting the details right during the installation and was willing to return to our house to resolve minor issues. I also appreciated the high quality of materials he uses and his care about using environmentally friendly plywood and paint. Brendan is easy to communicate with and respectful. I highly recommend Brendan - he charges higher prices but I think he is worth it! We're going to be living with this kitchen for a long time and it is a pleasure to have a kitchen that is truly beautiful as well as functional.

We were very pleased with the work as the contractor had to shave off each door to get them to fit and operate correctly. He took his time and made sure the knobs all worked. This was an all day job and very professional.
