I got into a car accident on my way to work, so I went home after the car was towed. The mulch was sitting on my driveway at 8:00AM. I called them and asked them why they delivered without calling to schedule a time/place AND when I left a message that I wanted it canceled. The lady claimed that she didn't have a voice message. I told her I can text me a screen shot that I had called that number and talked for 3 minutes.
Apparently, she had talked to the owner and the owner's best offer at a resolution was to have me pay ANOTHER 65 dollar fee to have it picked up. I half wonder if he got the voice message after the fact, realized his mistake and forced the sale anyway.
At some point, the lady told me to put it on craigslist. You kidding me?
Bottom line:
1) If the internet says that they will call to schedule a drop off time/location: then they should instead of doing it without confirmation
2) Check your voicemail. Or don't have it at all.
Jerks.
