Our service contract is about $250 a year. What they could do to get an overall A from me is to lower the price of their service contract. At times we have played phone tag a little bit, but it's no problem.
The installers arrived promptly at 7:30 am. I do not have an outside door in my basement so they managed to take most of the equipment through the basement window avoiding scratching up my recently painted walls.
Periodically, they would inform me about how far they were and what still needed to be done.
At 3:00 pm, they completed the job! At that time I was provided with full instructions for operation and routine maintenance. I was also given some tips about how to maintain my equipment and keep my basement moisture free.
I couldn't be more pleased! It pays to go with the best.
I did my homework, researching heating/cooling systems, and the system they provided was of a much higher quality than the poorly rated "condo" systems that 2 other installers tried to pass off on me.
In the bitter cold, on a Sunday night, my 2nd floor apartment's furnace went out. I had the gas company's service contract, and they came out twice and tried to fix it (got it started but then later it quit again), so I called Viglione, who had put in the old furnace over 20 years ago. All 3 servicemen told me that no replacement parts were available for this old model and that I would need to replace the furnace sooner or later. When It quit the 3rd time, The decision was made: they came the next morning and installed it. The owner even offered to bring me heaters to get me through the cold night until the new one was up and running. Great people, prompt, responsive, efficient, professional.
I didn't shop around for price, but from what I can see, the cost was reasonable, and I especially appreciated that the owner called his repairman first to see if it could be fixed rather than selling me a new one outright, and that I can deduct their serviceman's visit from the price.
I highly recommend them!
