If I could put zero I would. He Charged $400 to fix a stiff bathroom faucet. He was at my house for 1.25 hours that is $320.00 per hour !! Said it was the best he could do because it was a long drive to get from East Haven to Guilford. He put parts & labor on the invoice and he did not need any parts at all he just cleaned the fitting. He said he would refund me $100 of the absurd price and he never sent the money. Be aware when I went to the BBB site he did the same thing to an elderly couple, so he takes advantage of woman and the elderly, BEWARE !!

I had an inaccessible leak in a 3rd floor bathroom that was trickling down to the 2nd floor ceiling and into my basement. I was able to locate the source of the leak inside a wall on the 3rd floor, but the piping was too far in and could not be reached. I gave Dave a call on Saturday afternoon and he agreed to meet me on Sunday morning.
When he arrived, he was confident that he could reach the leak through the ceiling on the 2nd floor. After taking some measurements upstairs, he pinpointed it to the ceiling of a hallway closet on the 2nd floor. After cutting through the ceiling, he was able to access the leak. He cut away the original metal pipe and replaced it with new fittings and PVC. He finished in 4 hours and his price was very fair for a Sunday.
I would highly recommend Dave to anyone. He completed the job quickly with minimal damage, and all I have to do is cover the opening with an access panel in case I ever need to access the tricky area again. He is a meticulous guy and takes his job very seriously.

He was absolutely on time, friendly, knowledgeable. He went way beyond the call when we discovered that the placement of the drain pipe would interfere with the new vanity installation. His efficient solution was to re-route the pipe through the wall and around a corner...complex, but beautifully executed. He also had a huge variety of standard and non-standard parts right on his truck, eliminating the time (and cost) of a trip to the plumbing supply house. I would recommend Dave Miller to anyone without any reservations!

Dave does high-quality, meticulous work. He doesn't cut corners, and he uses high quality materials. I have a feeling he'll be our plumber for a long time.
