Mr. Watkins was friendly and professional. He said he cleaned the furnace and replaced a needed part. The gas company came to inspect and found the work was not done properly. I contacted Mr. Watkins while the gas tech was at my home in September and he came out the next day (late) to fix what the gas tech said was wrong. When the gas tech came back again to inspect to turn my furnace on, he said the work was still not done properly and himself contacted Mr. Watkins telling him that although he was going to turn the furnace back on that he had to come back and clean the furnace properly. I feel, and the gas tech felt, that Mr. Watkins' service on my gas furnace was poorly done. While professionalism is an asset, doing a job properly, especially on gas, is critical. According to the gas company, Mr. Watkins did not perform the necessary process to insure the furnace's safety and the gas company had to do some of it themselves in order to turn on the furnace.
Description of Work: Six months after I moved into my home, I had Yankee Gas inspect my furnace. They red-tagged the gas furnace and in August I hired Mr. Watkins to fix the issue which was required. The ticket from the gas company said it was producing carbon monoxide and needed cleaning.
