Excellent experience. Mark and his crew were great. My insurance company wanted all overhanging limbs cut back. They did this and my policy has now been re-instated for renewal.

New England Tree Experts were fast to respond to my request for a quote to remove a tree and grind down the stump. After reviewing several estimates and checking reviews, I decided on this company. I called and spoke to Merick who I found to be very professional and easy going. We discussed the work to be done and confirmed a day and time to complete the job. Merick showed up on time and did an outstanding job, he made quick work of the tree while remaining mindful of power lines, structures and other ornamental plantings. After removing all of the limbs and debris, Merick came back within the hour to grind down the stump and do a final cleanup. Not only is there no evidence of a tree being where it once stood, but there was no evidence that Merick was there either. I found this company to be very professional, courteous and fairly priced. I would definitely go with them again if the need arises. Thank you for a job well done!

I got a fast reponse, and a reasonable quote. The team came out the next day to complete the work. Very professional, and they even fixed my demolished fence. I am very happy with results.

I called to have two trees removed in the backyard. They came quickly, gave me a fairly low quote, and I decided to go with them. The owner lets me know that he will call to set up the date of service. Three weeks go by and nothing happens. I call and ask when they will come, and the owner lets me know he will let me know by Friday. Friday comes, and the owner shows up with the crew without letting me know in advance. Starts to work on the trees but does not get to finish on the same day. One truck and one bobcat machine are left in my backyard for the whole weekend. The lawn is ruined. Monday morning comes, and the crew comes back to finish the job. They work for about 6 hours, then leave. Tuesday comes, and the rest of the job is complete. In the process, both mine and my neighbor's fences are broken and unfixable. The neighbor complains to the owner, and the owner says he will come by and drop off materials to fix the fence. Spoiler: He never came back. It was one of the cheaper services compared to other companies, but for time and value, I would not recommend this company. He also asked if he could remove stumps and was told he was backlogged until June. It is almost July, and I have not gotten a call back. TLDR: Good price, but not worth the hassle. Save up some money and go with a more expensive company that will not destroy your backyard.

This company did an excellent job removing quite a lot of trees in my back yard. They gave an excellent price, and removed several large dead trees. Overall, we couldn't have asked for better service.

Mark and Team were INCREDIBLE! I had a huge maple tree in my front yard that I've needed to cut down for years (I kept waiting for Eversource to take it as they did another one, but no such luck). I called 8 companies and got 5 quotes. New England Tree was the best price and included stump grinding, haul away, clean up, top soil, and seed (most of the the other companies didn't even address top soil and seeding). With rave reviews on Google, Home Advisor, etc. plus many people on the Nextdoor app recommending them, I reached out to Mark to schedule. They completed the job in two days, even with our neighbors and us watching / taking videos (as it was absolutely mesmerizing...!). Everyone was very nice and respectful, they did a phenomenal job with the work itself, and cleaned everything up - it's like the tree was never even there! Now I just wish I'd called them sooner. I highly recommend them and would use them again in a heatbeat - literally one of the best companies I've worked with on anything and NO complaints!!

Had two trees remove and the stubs ground down on October 31st 2020 so happy I called them it took a couple of months but they've been so busy worth it good costif I had other trees that had to come down I would call them without another thought. Mark Phillips and the crew were experts thank you Mark and crew.

Mark was so easy to communicate and work with during the stressful time for me, with a huge fallen tree in my yard. His crew was fast and complete in their work. I would definitely use this company again and recommend it to friends!

I'd hire them again in a minute. Their price was better than the others, they have all insurance (including Workers Compensation), and most importantly... the right tools for the job. We had a 70' Oak Tree removed which required a huge bucket truck. They have one so it only took them one day to take down the tree and haul away all the wood, and they ground out the stump the next day. The lawn was clean when they were done with their work. You could tell just by watching them work that the crew was very knowledgeable. My neighbor also hired them since they were in the area. He too had a 5 Star result in pruning 5 trees and removing one.

I called New England Tree Experts after another company cancelled on me. This was a difficult removal of two very large trees close to the house, in a confined space and with low hanging utility wires. Mark came out promptly, assured me they could do the job and gave me a price that was reasonable and fair. They were here when they said they would be, did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and put everything back in it's place. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Efficient, professional

I was having many small trees and one big tree cut down in my backyard. I spoke to Shane and was told he would be coming Thursday but came Saturday without letting me know. There was another project being done in my yard that would have been completed by Tuesday. This caused a mess. I was devastated when I got home. There were huge branches all over my yard along with 8 inch holes. My fence was down and a corner of the yard was filled with debris and branches. Also the cement platform at bottom of stairs was cracked and the wood chips on the deck had not been cleared away. I spoke to Shane about this mess and nothing was done. I ended up having to pay another company $600 to clear branches and pile of debris. I was very upset and disappointed with this company. I feel I should give others fair warning about my experience.

Mr. Phillips and his crew are experienced, very hard working, and his crew works well together. They cut down 13 very tall trees and 1 huge tree that was very close to the house; each tree was trimmed, cut into manageable logs, each trunk was ground down, and the chips cleaned up . They also ripped out vines that were growing near our other trees. His price was very reasonable for all the work they did. I would definitely hire them again.
