I was looking for a low cost solution to improve the hardwood floors ahead of listing my home for sale -- Brian Tran (owner) was recommended by a coworker. Brian came to my home (arriving 5-10 minutes early for our appointment) and walked through the house with me as I explained that I wanted to hear suggestions on how to make the floors look the best they could at the lowest cost possible. Brian made several suggestions, including not completely refinishing the floors in the upstairs hall and bedrooms as they did not have the same wear and tear as the downstairs' rooms. He even suggested refinishing the treads of the stairs and leaving the risers, ideas that -- in total -- would save hundreds of dollars in cost. Brian came out a second time to deliver the contract and discuss start days/times (again arriving 5-10 minutes ahead of our appointed meeting time). He was very flexible and worked around my custody schedule to do as much work as possible when my children were not with me so as not to disrupt their schedules. On the day he was to begin, Brian arrived early and helped me move some of the furniture out of the rooms in which he would work. According to our schedule, he worked over the weekend, applying the last coat of poly on Sunday morning to dry and allow me to return to the house on Monday. When I saw his completed work, it was incredible the transformation that took place. When I moved in to the house 12 years earlier, the floors were in need of refinishing; 12 years of traffic did nothing to improve this. After two weekends, Brian made the house -- not just the floors -- take on a whole new appearance. Brian was always courteous, punctual and accommodating. His work was fantastic and his price unmatched. I highly recommend him and will use him again, should the need arise.
Description of Work: Refinished hardwood floors throughout the house (2 floors and stairs), completely refinishing the floors on one level and applying a new poly coat on the second level.
