Mark Cibula Plumbing & Heating

Mark could not have been better to deal with. He came right away to give me an estimate, the estimate was a very fair price, told me he could install the toilet without any issue with how close it was to the wall, and then he scheduled me promptly for the installation. He was upbeat, knowledgeable, practical, came the day he said he would. After the installation, he checked to make sure that everything was fine and discovered a manufacturing defect, a hairline crack with porcelain in it under the toilet valve which was causing the tank to weep/leak. He immediately advised me to call the company (Builder.com) from which I purchased the toilet, the rep promised me a replacement on the spot and added that it was a much faster decision on their part to replace because it happened at the time of installation. Thanks, Mark, for a job well-done, for helping me take care of the replacement on the spot, and for promising to come back to install the replacement toilet, and haul away the defective one, free-of-charge! I am very loyal to good service providers when I find them, and Mark Cibula is a keeper!

He showed up quickly, and fixed the leak in just a few minutes. Very polite and friendly.

Mark is great!! He has done several projects/repairs in my home. His rates are reasonable (I don't feel like I'm being ripped off!) and his work is reliable. I feel like he is a honest and trustworthy service provider and I feel comfortable having him in my home.

Mark's work was high quality.  The only complaint I had was that we had some mis-steps in terms of returning my phone calls and scheduling.  This was resolved and I was very pleased.

I did find them on Angie's List. He didn't have any specials. I called him and he came over in 20 minutes. He helped me out of the bind and did a great job. He has done what I needed him to do.

Mark was a hero - he wouldn't leave us until everything was fixed. Not only did he do great work but he gave us tremendous peace of mind.

Mark turned on the water to the property and within moments we could see water pouring through the walls and ceilings.  We quickly turned off the water and began investigating the problem.  He looked through a hold in the sheetrock and found a split section of pipe (not a good sign).  He quickly repaired that section of pipe and turned on the water again... still water was spilling out of every open piece of sheetrock.
We turned the water off momentarily and investigated the radiators, furnace, filters, and water pump.  We found significant damage in all of these components and realized this house would have to be gutted and new plumbing, kitchen and bathoom fixtures,  sheetrock, floors, and ceilings would be needed.
Ultimately, Mark was the first person to be honest with us about the condition of the property.  Even after we found this out, the agents tried to convince us to move forward with the deal or risk losing our deposit.  Mark even offered to help us fight that battle to make sure we got our deposit back.
Ultimately, Mark was a pleasure to work with.  We found him to be professional, courteous and ultimately he saved us about $50,000 worth of repairs we never could have afforded to do.

He was fabulous!  He was prompt, stayed late and stayed with us until everything was complete.  He also came after hours to help us.  We would highly recommend him to others and use him again in the future!

We called Mark to take care of several plumbing issues in the home our son just purchased (a short sale).  We tried to call other plumbers but the wait was anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks. Mark took the time to discuss the problems and we set up an appointment for the following day.  He was on time and arrived with all the parts that were needed. Friendly, honest, and fair.  The work was done fast and the work area was left clean and neat.  We were very pleased with Mark and will call him again.

I had an emergency and reached out to Mike after reading about him on Angie's List. I had never used him before and called him at 7:30 on a Monday morning. He assured me he would look at the problem right away and was out there by Monday late morning/early afternoon and fixed the issue. His prices are reasonable, work was excellent and he was prompt. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Mark was great. Showed up on time and completed the work, which ended up being more complicated then originally thought, in a timely manner. Very professional. Cleaned up afterwards. I will use him again and will refer him to friends and family.

As soon as he got our call, Mark was able to come to our house very quickly, diagnose the problem and get the needed parts for the repair extremely quickly. He made sure we temporarily had hot water that evening, and he even drove all the way to New Haven the next day to pick up the part so we didn’t have to go another day without hot water while the part shipped.
Since then the hot water heater has been working perfectly!
We will definitely work with Mark again and would recommend them to friends and family.

Mark responded promptly to my query via Angie's List, showed up when he said he would, assessed the situation quickly, and fixed the problem. He was very courteous, friendly, and professional, and a big plus with my wife, put on booties before walking through the house. I hope I don't need his services in the future, but if I do, he'll be the one I call!

We noticed that our outdoor hoses were leaking despite the fact that we kept turning it off, and we worried that it could have frozen given the erratic weather, so we called Mark to check on it. He was able to come out right away, and noticed that the valves were not functioning, so he replaced them. He then demonstrated how to use the new valves, and gave us some guidelines for how to manage the hoses during the cold weather.
While he was in the basement, he also noticed that the water filter was being held in place by plastic nuts, which were not stable. He suggested that we upgrade to copper in order to avoid any flooding in our finished basement. After answering a few questions, he said he had the parts with him and could do it immediately.
He was in and out within about a hour, answered all of the questions we had, and was overall very professional and friendly. We will definitely call him next time we need a plumber, and would recommend him to friends and family.

Mark was able to quickly troubleshoot and address the problem.

Mark was called by our general contractor to do the job and we couldn't be happier. He was very responsive, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. After hearing about the work that was required he went right and and got the parts that were needed to complete the job. The work involved to move the base heater was more than just transferring it to another wall. He also had to install new piping in our basement and work with our existing heating unit which is zoned. I especially liked that Mark showed me the work he had done and carefully explained to me what everything was. He also recommended we call our heating company, with whom we have a contract, and request to have a couple of parts fixed on our heating unit. to bring it up to code. He made sure his work sites were cleaned up afterwards and I suspect he thinks highly of his customers satisfaction. I would definitely call Mark again for any plumbing or heating needs and would highly recommend him too!
