Clean Cut Painting

I was up in the attic a few months ago and slipped and stepped on the ceiling of my daughters room.  A good quarter of the ceiling needed repair.  Having had Chris fix some water damage on my ceiling previously, I knew just who to call for this job,  Just as before, Chris and his team were prompt,cleaned up after themselves, did great  quality work in the repair. It wasn't even noticeable after they finished that I had messed up a good portion of ceiling. Good as new! Reasonably priced, on time, on quote, Quality work and they clean up after themselves! Excellent work, a pleasure to work with

Excellent. Chris is responsive, professional and clearly takes pride in his work. His crew was there on time each day, performed the work they promised and did a great job. I was surprised at how much effort his crew put into leveling out our ceiling, fixing all the nail pops and bad tape seams and putting on a perfect finish coat. Yet they did it all in one day as promised. They also tore out a badly warped section of sheetrock above our fireplace and braced it properly then finished it off perfectly. Next job was leveling out another bunch of poorly taped walls, and again, an excellent job. You can't tell there was ever a problem now. I will definitely hire them again; great company and enjoyed dealing with them. No nonsense, excellent price and top notch work.

Chris and the crew at Clean Cut Painters were professional from start to finish. I changed the work I was requesting after the initial estimate and Chris was easy to work with in accommodating my wishes. I attempted to get estimates from a few other contractors and only one other actually returned my calls and showed up despite many promises. It was a breath of fresh air to work with Clean Cut and they did an excellent job.

We had a great experience with Chris and his crew. From the first day we met him and, of course, after reading his reviews on Angie's list, we knew we had the right company for the job. Chris and his team are respectful, pleasant and meticulous in their work. We had started the job originally with another painter and immediately saw that we were going to have a bad experience, so we fired him from the job. Not so with Clean Cut Painting. The crew worked all day, sometimes without a break, during some of the hottest days of the summer. We couldn't be happier with the results and our neighbor has even contacted Chris about painting his house! Chris will be our painter/handyman going forward and I will surely recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Everything went great.  The finally job looked very professional, left 0% mess, very tidy.  The thing that I liked most was that Chris's communication is excellent, I highly value this.  Our initial contact was via a voicemail I left, he was very prompt in returning the call.  From then on out, Chris texted me with his schedule and availability, always responsive.  He did an excellent job working around my businesses schedule. Very easy to work with. I gave him all A ratings, and an N/A for price since I did not get any other quotes for the job.

Extremely professional and responsive.  Communication was quick and the quote we received was detailed and professional.  Pricing was fair. The work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. The work was of high quality and his attention to detail was noticeable. 

The house looks fantastic now. When my father came by afterward he was impressed with the work, and that is a ringing endorsement in my eyes.  Overall, I highly recommend Chris and his team at Clean Cut Painting. 

Chris and his team repaired and patched drywall popcorn type ceiling in my dining room and a bedroom that were damaged from water leaks. Each area was stripped, boards reinforced, patched, re-popcorned and painted. The results were perfect. You can't tell that there was ever any damage. The quote was fair and was in the middle of the three I received. I plan to use and recommend this company in the future.

Very professional. Came one day to powerwash and scrape old stain were needed. Took a couple days for the team to repair and stain the porch which was very reasonable for the amount of work done. Everyone was very professional and the finished job looked great. I would definitely recommend to friends and use them again.

Chris and his team did a great job! They originally fit us in to their schedule for about the weeks out but called a couple days layer to say that they had a last minute opening. They came in and repaired and taped the first day then finished the next day. It looks great! Very happy with the job.

Chris was wonderful to deal with.  He was prompt to respond to my request for and estimate, returned the estimate quickly, and started the job on time.  He and his crew prepped thoroughly and kept the house in good condition for the entire job.  They were very professional and I would recommend them highly.

The process:

We met with Chris initially to discuss the project and walked him through all the areas we wanted repaired or addressed. Chris came back quickly with a price quote and a comprehensive task list. He worked with us as we made selections and tiling, fixtures, and paint selections. Chris is very organized and conscientious and this is reflected in the quality of his work.

Tiling:

Bathroom & Laundry:

Both these rooms were small but involved coordination with the hardwood flooring contractor to install. This work was performed well and worked seamlessly with the other contractor.  The outcome was excellent.

Large Bath:

This room presented the greatest challenge.  I chose a design that took some thought and planning, in addition to considerable time to execute.   The installation of the shower was the largest feat in order to assure no leakage. Chris planned in the extra help of an additional tiling contractor to help execute the installation of the shower.  The work was excellent. A small issue that involved a sliding glass door and rework of a threshold to accommodate it was addressed quickly and satisfactorily.

Painting & Repair (Great Room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Baseboards, Stair Strike plates):

Chris is an excellent painter.  He and his associate's work was beautiful.  Chris' painting work fully illustrates the care and pride he puts into his work.  He is meticulous and detail orientated.  I was very impressed.  I will never paint another room again... I'll be calling Chris. 

Attic: 

Again, this piece was a small part of our entire project that could be easily fit in between contractors. This happened seamlessly and happened nearly without my realizing it was completed.  Again, an excellent job.

Outstanding professionalism and attention to detail.  They spent three days prepping the house after the power wash. All trim was sanded and scraped and primed where necessary.  All surfaces were coated with at least two coats of top quality paint. Several window drip edges were replaced.  Joints were caulked where necessary.  They used great care not to splatter paint or paint drops.  They took their time and did not appear to be rushed. Excellent workmanship.  Chris the owner would touch base with me every morning to inform me what the days work would be.  The three workers worked well together and stayed busy even if Chris left to quote new jobs.  They took just over two weeks to complete the job.

I am so impressed with Clean Cut Painting.  I left a message and received a call back within 48hrs.  We set up an appointment for the estimate a few days later and was very happy with the price.  I was told that the work wouldn't be done for a few weeks, but they were able to squeeze me in way ahead of schedule.  The work was professional and meticulous.  They spent a couple of days scraping and power washing the area.  Then they arrived on the 3rd day wrapped everything in plastic and spray painted the area. They cleaned up after themselves and left no residue of paint anywhere.  I will definitely be using them again for another project.
