Whether it's consultation, preparing an estimate, doing the installation, or doing a repair, this company is a class act. Whether the job is big or small, they make you feel like a top priority. Everyone is so efficient, so careful, so good at what they do, and so nice. All companies should take notes: This is how you should treat your customers. Aces all around.

the worst company ever, they tell you 4 weeks, but its been almost 8, I asked for a refund but they came out the next day and pacified me by installing a few poles, I was told they could deal with the heat...LOL however they told my wife they were pulled from another job to pacify me liars and cheats as far as I'm concerned. looking at a huge mess in my yard...that's not fenced in . lost one dog due to getting loose and hit, I should have had the fence for weeks at that point....I would have NEVER hired them, had I known the nightmare they would cause

Fence looked great once installed however, the installation itself presented some difficulties for the installers primarily due to the area where the fence was installed,very rocky, many roots and generally presented with lousy soil conditions, which were all understandable obstacles. However, the installers cleanup was unacceptable and we were none too happy with how they left the site. Howard sent someone by to "cleanup" once and some clean up of excessive dirt left behind was apparent. But we were still not happy with the job done so Howard came out a second time (third time if you consider the original installation) along with an assistant and they did still more cleanup. I don't know maybe were OCD but we wanted the area to have a lot less dirt than what was left behind.  After these few experiences we were happy with the overall results and likely would use Hastie again for our next fence installation sans dirt!.

Work was done in a timely manner.  Workers were professional, on time,and friendly.

They had better product and a better price then I had seen elsewhere.  They respond right away and they have a quality product.  I shopped around and liked them the best.  At least two people came to do the work and it took about two days.  Very pleased with there work.

It took them a while to call us back, but thousands of people had the same situation after that storm.  Got a pretty reasonable quote right away, the work is good and they did what they promised.

We got two beagles in November and wanted to get our yard fenced in to give the dogs room to run and play.  We have a fairly interesting yard that includes a steep hill, so we knew that would be one of the difficulties in doing this job.  We also needed to make a dog run to get the dogs from the dog door at the garage out to the lawn.
We had four companies come out to bid, and not only was the Hastie bid tied for the lowest, but Howard, the man who came to bid the job, said that they could make it look very nice.  He took careful measurements and even came back a day later to double check.  
I wish I could remember the names of the two men who did the job, because they were great.  They arrived on a rainy day, but got right to work and stayed until it began to downpour.  They were both pleasant and professional and hard working.  We had a tough job for them and they never complained.  
They did make one mistake with placement of four posts but when it was pointed out they moved them without hesitation.  The job was done completely to our satisfaction and we are thrilled with how it looks.  After they finished Howard came back to do the final measurement for the billing.  They stuck to the estimate plus an extra gate that we asked be put in, which we knew we would be charged for.
We would definitely use them again in the future.

It went good. They were punctual, they got the job done the time they said they would. They said they're going to dig deeper than the dig but it looks good.

I was very impressed with this company.  They were prompt in giving an estimate and in scheduling and completing the work.  They did an excellent job!  Their workers were all friendly and competent.  Work was done in a timely manner.

Hastie did an estimate back in May, 2013 and when I was ready (November) to have the work done and couldn't find my original estimate, they sent Howard out to look at it. (The original guy who did the estimate apparently no longer works there.) Due to a mix up, he priced a wrong part of the fence and I ended up sending pictures of what I needed done. They ultimately found the original estimate and agreed to the original price. That part of the process was less than smooth and I was questioning whether this company deserved the "A" rating that I had seen others from Angie's list give it. (There is no category to rate the estimate process, so I assigned a B to Responsiveness, though they were actually responsive when I contacted them - I just felt that I was clear on what needed to be replaced, yet the estimate was not done correctly.)
However, once the installers arrived (I didn't get their names), I was very pleased.  They came the day they said they would. They were very personable, professional and spoke to me first about what was being done, etc. They completed the work in one day and I'm very pleased with the outcome. They took pride in their work, which I was very happy to see. They cleanup up, took all the old fence posts away and even left me some extra pickets and nails. 
I was very pleased with the install and the guys who did the work!

Price was great, it was the lowest of the 3 quotes we got by quite a bit. Once we decided to go with them, we were initially told it would be about a 2-week wait, which we were fine with. They actually ended up calling 3 days later and told us they would start work that Wednesday. It was done in 2 days, and it looks and works great!

Howard, the estimator, arrived promptly on 7 August, listened to our problem statement and desires and then suggested a less-expensive and more attractive solution than what we had originally envisioned.  We selected a 7' high (6' plus decorative 1' accent) x 48-ft-long "Chesterfield" vinyl fence by CertainTeed.  Adam and Stan did a first-rate job installing the fence on September 11, 2013.

They put in the posts one day and came back the next day and installed the fencing.  I had to call them back because there were a couple of places where the fence didn't go all the way to the ground and it was not very tight in one corner.  Otherwise we are happy with the work they did.

The price was reasonable and when we contacted them they had somebody onsite within a week to look at what we wanted done. They then came back within another week with a quote. We then accepted the contract and sent them a down-payment. Since it had been snowing we didn't expect them to come until April, but we came home one night and they'd already put up the new section of fence. So they were very quick and responsive as far as doing the work and they did exactly what I asked them to. Our property adjoins an apartment complex and was hit a few times by bigger vehicles with wide bumpers, so we asked them to move the fence in six inches and then replace that section of the fence and they did exactly what I asked so I was very happy with them. It was the longest section of the fence that pretty much goes all the way through the yard. We probably could have gotten a lesser price had we shopped around, but at the same time, to me, the work they did was very good and very timely.

It went very well, from the salesman who gave me suggestions on which part of my yard to enclose to the installers who picked up after themselves and were very polite during the process.

We took several months to research not only fencing companies but the quality of their products as well.  We especially liked the quality of their fences and their patience in dealing with us as we considered design alternatives.  The crew was professional and efficient.  Other companies we spoke with either had inferior quality fencing, were evasive about the quality of their product, or (in one case) was only interested in the "high end" market, i.e., they expected us to pay more for less.  Hastie, on the other hand, was forthright and genuinely interested in our business.
