This organization is impeccably professional. They do a thorough job and the initial visit to assess your needs. I had six quotes and they were by far the most reasonable. They showed up on time and finished on budget. They were friendly knowledgeable – a family owned business. Every time I have called for even some simple thing that is usually my fault like a plug is not in the socket- They have someone out here same day. Good honest wonderful people who do superior work. Hard to find in this less than honorable world these days. I highly recommend their services.

We've used Total Comfort in two of our homes - both antiques. There are challenges specific to old homes that required us to find a reputable, experienced company to install air conditioning. The first time we hired them, they installed central air in our 1890 home and did a wonderful job. They were punctual, respectful of keeping the home clean (we had a 6-month old at the time), and worked very hard to keep the historic flavor of our home intact. This more recent job - finished last week - was in our home built in 1770. Again, our older home required some "work arounds" that I could trust only with a team like Total Comfort. When traditional central air wasn't the best solution, they suggested an alternative that will also give us supplemental heat (which will be much appreciated in our drafty old house this winter). Again, the team who installed it was professional, careful, respectful, and a pleasure to greet for the days they worked in our home. Thankfully the heat we've experienced over the last several days has led to lots of fun outside, and lots of cool relaxation inside! Thank you, Total Comfort!!

Service team was very punctual and professional.  Company was great to work with and flexible around travel schedule with delays between original quote and service work starting.   Team was very efficient and able to run required duct work in a day & half and set new unit in place.

Our house is for sale and during the home inspection, the inspector was examining the HVAC equipment and thought he smelled an odor that may have been a gas leak. I called Total Comfort, who provides regular scheduled maintenance on the system, and they immediately dispatched a technician to our home to investigate. He was there within an hour and thoroughly inspected the unit and all the gas connections. In fact, there was no leak but I was thoroughly impressed with their responsiveness and concern. They have been servicing our equipment for the past five years (twice yearly) and have always done a very good job, with friendly and professional service, and reasonable pricing. But I think this most recent visit really showed that they care about their customers and are willing to go above and beyond in customer service.

There are a few small things to work out --the esthetics of condensate drainage--but I'm confident that this will all be done very well in the end.

Very professional, courteous and neat. Found the problem and took care of it right away. And that is all one wants.

The gas burner was closed down by gas company due to faulty heat exchanger. Made several calls, but Total Comfort was only one to return call with concern (no heat) over the weekend and assured me that someone would be here first thing Monday. There was and confirmed the problem. Today, 4 men(very courteous,) came and did the job and made sure everything worked before leaving. Also, I was ver;y impressed the care taken not to mess carpets, etc.( came equipped with clean drop cloths). Besides their expertise, they were respectful of my home. I definitely would recommend them and I plan to use them for the air conditioning this coming summer.

We have been using them ever since we got our central air. Their pricing is very reasonable. They always come when called. They stand behind their work.

Our central air system started leaking condensate water onto the basement floor. After some delays due to two hurricanes and extended power outages, I called two companies. The first never responded. The second, Total Comfort, responded promptly, in spite of a lot of other storm related issues that they had to deal with. They determined that the problem was a clogged drain line and not the much more expensive evaporator coil. They replaced and reconfigured the drain line. They also inspected the rest of the system and checked the coolant pressure. The system has worked fine since then.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about them. They were very good overall.

We like them. They are always polite. They never try to come out and sell us something new. They just do the work and give us good advice. They are good guys. In terms of price, I think they were fine. I would use them again in the future.

My neighbor had used them and they recommended them to me.  I asked them to quote me on replacing the air conditioner and furnace.  They told me it would cost me $6500 and they also told me about several financing plans to upgrade to more energy efficient systems.  They put me in touch with state resources and they were a registered vendor with them.  I got the $6500 through the state and $700 rebate on the equipment.  I am going be spending $60 a month.  I felt they went above and beyond to help me.  They were very helpful and it was painless for me to take on this project.  They went above and beyond to make sure I could afford it and gave me the latest equipment and a really competitive price.  They called me the next day to make sure it was working fine.  I told them that there were a few adjustments to be made and they were out the same day.  I felt they took to ownership over the program to make me happy. 

I was very pleased with this company. I met with a sales person named John McCormack who explained things in a way that made sense to me. He provided a detaied quote and list of proposed services including a timeline, within a few days of our meeting and then followed to see if I had any questions.Although John as the sales person he was very technical and seemed to really understand what he was doing. It was clear that he had worled int he field for many years and had extensive experience. After excepting the proposal we scheduled a time for the work to commence. The workers who came were prompt, couteous, and neat. I felt comfortable leaving them unsupervised and the finshed product was just what I hoped for. The workmanship was excellent, the price was fair and the system is functioning well. The project finished on time with no problems. I would recommend to anyone who needs this type of service that they call this company.
