But a week later there were creaking sounds as one stepped on certain areas of the tile. Mr. Miller sent one of his workers out who assured me all was well and nothing needed to be done. Time went by and little by little the grout became loose, cracked and came off the tile. This continued in this fashion until it really became an eyesore. I called Mr. Miller's office repeatively last fall to have the problem corrected. His receptionist was quite nice but Mr. Miller never called me back. I know it is quite a while since the tile work was done, but the problem was there from the beginning and I certainly thought Mr. Miller would stand behind his work. I also would like to mention that I did have Brushes End redo my kitched counter tops with granite in 2002. Through someone at Brushes End's oversite the granite was cut for a right-handed sink instead of a left-handed one. Rather than have Mr. Miller lose money and cut me a whole new piece of granite, I accepted the cut piece since I thought it was the "RIGHT THING TO DO" and it really didn't affect me, except a bit of a slow down in the work.
It would have been nice if Mr. Miller could have done "THE RIGHT THING" as well and fixed the grout properly since that is what I paid for after all!!!!
I am now of course fed up and am having another contractor finally fix the grout problem once and for all.
