"Joseph, it was a pleasure working with you. And we hope you enjoy both your bathrooms for many years! We look forward to working together with you in the future."
"With all due respect to this gentleman's review and comment, we do not even have records of this job because it was at least 7 years ago. If permits were not pulled, we would have to assume it was because it was not needed. The gentleman is mistaken to what was said to his realtor. Unfortunately the Homeowner never called us himself, as we would have been more than happy to discuss it with him in more detail. We informed his realtor of how long ago work was done (she was under the impression it was a a couple years), and that if permits were not pulled the homeowner would have been aware of that.. We do not hide any information from homeowners when doing work for them at all. If our memory serves us correctly, this was also a project that went through the homeowners insurance; which when that happens, they require the proper guidelines to ensure work was done properly."
"First and foremost, we are sorry the homeowner has such ill feelings towards our company. We know this project did not turn out as we both planned, but we believe we did everything in our power to make the homeowner happy. We agree that the 2 week project turned into 8. We were on track to be completed in 3 weeks when there became a price issue with the cost of the shower door; which was an allowance item, and not associated with a problem we caused. Solimine Contracting set aside a $2,000 allowance for the shower door in our contract. The homeowner is also correct, that we do add a 20% charge to all allowance items. This charge is to cover the shopping times spent with the homeowner to pick out materials, as well as ordering and delivery, and the responsibility and functionality of the item. We do give homeowners an option to buy materials direct if they choose to agree to all of the above. Once work began, it was decided that the shower was going to be slightly larger than originally discussed. We'd like to include that the homeowner wanted a custom barn style door. We received the quote form the first company, which came over budget and the homeowner was not happy , nor accepting of that option. From 10/13 to 10/25, there was constant communication including a 2nd quote we provided by another company for the shower door, which put a halt to the project. The 2nd quote was not accepted either. There was also a 3 day period where we were trying to contact them to resolve the issue, to which we did not hear back from them. We finally came up with a solution, and the homeowner ordered a shower door on their own around 10/25 which took about a week to come in, and we provided additional work to the bench seat at no charge to properly install the decided shower door. We apologize that we did not realize that the original door was going to be far over the allowance amount, and that the homeowner thought we were originally installing the system ourselves. We did explain to them immediately that we normally refer to a glass company to fabricate and install the shower door portion of the project, but if that was not communicated properly, we do apologize. In the end, Solimine Contracting did install it. So as you can see, between the time period of coming up with a solution to the problem, and installing the shower door, it was almost a 5 week period. When we installed the shower door, we also completed all of our punch list items so the project would be complete. We reiterated to them several times that we were doing everything in our power to make the homeowner happy, and give them their bathroom back. Once we were complete, it took almost a week for the homeowner to meet with us (which is added into his calculation in his timeline review). We met with the homeowner on November 11th, thinking the project was complete, to which the homeowner provided us with an additional punch list they wanted complete. This took us by surprise, becaus"
"Thank you Joanne for your review, and we are pleased to know that you are happy with the service Solimine Contracting has provided for you. Thank you for continuing to entrust Solimine Contracting for your Home Improvement Projects!"
"Thank you for your concerns, and although no company likes a bad review, it is certainly something we can learn from and perhaps take a better avenue to approach the next time something happens. We have fully acknowledged that there was damage to their floors, and have ordered wood to properly fix the problem. We had trouble ordering the flooring , and should have better communicated that to them; however it is on order and we are waiting for it to come in. The office has received no calls or emails from the Homeowner, however is they contacted a person directly, we are certainly looking into that and assuring that possibly ignoring a customer will not happen again. We were not aware, however of any other issues, although when in contact with the Homeowner we will discuss any other concerns with them as well. As far as the original flooring contractors accusations of us yelling at him; that is a completely false statement,; and again, something we are just hearing about. We did, in fact ask him for a quote, to which we questioned him why it was as high as it was. We too, felt that we had a good relationship with the Homeowners, and our lack of communication by no means, has any indication of our company not fixing their current problem."
"Thank you for your feedback in your bathroom remodel. Our goal as a business is to develop relationships with every client we service. We are very happy to hear that your are enjoying your new bathroom, and will make sure if you use Solimine Contracting for any other Home Improvement Projects in the future, that we are on top of communicating everything that is going on with your project. Thank you again, for choosing Solimine Contracting for your Bathroom Remodel!"
"Thank you for choosing Solimine Contracting for your bathroom remodel! We are so happy that you were pleased with not only the quality of work, but also the level of customer service you deserve as well. We hope that you enjoy your new bathroom remodel for many years to come, and look forward to working with you in future Home Improvement projects!"
"Thank you for your concerns. We always welcome feedback, whether it be good or bad. We would like to take a moment to clarify a few of the homeowner's concerns. The delays in the project were only due to certain materials that were ordered, that did not arrive on time. There was, in fact, something that was ordered that came in damaged, that we had to reorder as well. This was something beyond our control. As far as quality of materials were concerned, Solimine Contracting did not select any materials for the bathroom remodel. The homeowner chose all the materials based upon the homeowners budget. With that being said, we do understand that every project is not going to go as smooth as we'd like it to be. We do, with every renovation though, make sure that we go through any touch ups and/ or concerns with every homeowner, before receiving a final payment upon completion of the job. This project was no different than any other. We understand that in the homeowner's eyes, we failed them as their contractor, however, being a construction company, serving clients for over 20 years, we do everything in our power to make every client happy in the end. Our goal is build relationships with every client we service. This homeowner is exactly the same. If there is anything we can do to win your trust back in your future renovation projects, we would be more than happy to speak to you. However, we do understand that you have many options when choosing a contractor, and we wish you luck on any future home improvement projects you may have."
