UPDATE: The copper was returned to my home in August 2012.
I called the company and explained that the heater bottom was leaking.
When I called I already done my research and knew that when the heater bottom leaks this means the tank has corroded and most likely the heater needs replacement.
We agreed on the price and the time.
The installer (Mike) arrived on time as promised.
Clean van, respectful manners.
He did not mind me asking lots of silly questions and watching him work.
He flushed, disconnected and hauled away old and installed new heater.
He even insulated the pipes with what was on the old pipes !
Very professional.
They got my business now.
