Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning & Installations, LLC

Unfortunately, the worst!!! Do not do business with Ned Stevens. I had told the workers to cancel coming to my property at two different occasions. I left a message cancelling, which of course they did not have a record of it. Originally, I was told they would come out in late fall and then in May-June. They came out on December 22nd, 2022, which I was not home. This was not in late fall or May-June as they said on the recording. If I was home I would of chased them away again. I did not receive an email that they were coming out, but I did receive an email that I was being charged. I am fighting the charge. They are very sneaky. I will continue to give them bad reviews. Also, they too left my gate open like the previous complainer. Worst ever!

Happy with the work but distraught over lack of commitment for scheduling

I searched on Angie’s List on a Sunday morning and they called me within minutes. They cannot secure a date or time—“they just show up and you do not need to be home.” They came 5 days later and I was home. It was raining but the 2 man crew worked quickly and did a good job. Cleaned up afterwards. Very satisfied. Just strange they can’t give you a time frame.

Great service - called in afternoon when I saw an overflowing gutter - they were here next day before noon with a team on the roof and ground cleaning and flushing gutters and making sure our property was cleaner after the service than before.

A neighbor has been using this provider for years and recommended them so I hired them with little research. I needed gutters cleaned and identified a specific area that appeared blocked. I stepped out one day for maybe 35min and came back to find a flyer on my door (they don't tell you when they are going to show up, so you can't be sure to be home when they do). I wondered how they cleaned my gutters, fixed my issue and tested everything in 35min and sure enough, when it rained a few days later it was clear they had done nothing. My credit card was charged, but no work performed. I called to complain and they agreed to come back and do the work I paid for - since then, the specific issue I identified has been fixed but issues I didn't call out remain, so it seems they didn't check the whole house. Circled back with my neighbor and there has apparently been an ownership change at this company. Don't be fooled by the competent customer service agents, the people who come to your house aren't capable of doing the work. Avoid.

Very responsive, did the work on schedule, fair price

Poorly. Over charged me for the services performed and did a poor job. They did not perform some of the services I was charged for. No written contract provided. Try to entrap you by recording your conversations with them without advising you. I do not recommend them. No photographs are provided of areas stated need repairs or confirming the job is completed..

I felt like I was dealing with a used car saleman trying to upsell me on their services. They recommended a whole gutter replacement for my gutters which are only 8-9 years old.

The estimate was fair. But they seemed kind of hard-sell. I got at least four phone calls in response to my request for an estimate. Each time they seemed to read from a script and try to upsell. It might be due to the current economy, but it made me kind of uncomfortable. I ended up going with a local company with a similar price. I would consider trying Ned Stevens if that company does not work out in the future.
