I rate them very highly. Their prices weren't really low but they were fair. He is a licensed electrician and he does what I need to have done.

They gave the estimate on some other work. When I mentioned the loose ducts, they said they had the time to fix them. They said they would need to run out for some roofing nails. But I had some, so they used my nails and finished the work.

Very prompt response on estimate. Pete showed up when he said he would and finished the project in a timely manner. He also worked well with my carpenter.

We did not know why we were having a problem with an electric appliance. Per Angie's list, we called Mucci Electric. Peter Mucci responded and made the service call even though it was a weekend. He asked relevant questions to try to diagnose the problem.

I don't know how much I paid and I don't want to quote because I may be wrong. I know that it was reasonable. They are absolutely great. They are reliable. They did quality work. The good part is that, they never strayed from their estimate. I would use their services again in the future.

Both experiences were fine. Pete was here when he said he would be and finished the jobs within the time he said. He was also great about calling us to schedule the second job and was really flexible with our timeline. The work was done well.

On Pete's first visit, we described what we wanted and showed him the existing fixtures. Not being familiar with lighting options, we asked Pete for his suggestions, for example, canister or pendant lights above the peninsulas, and the best solution for the under cabinets. After listening to Pete's suggestions, we decided on canister ceiling fixtures and zip-strips for under the cabinets. We thought his estimate for the work was quite fair, and, after consulting calendars, set a date for the work. Pete and his brother contacted us close to the work date to confirm that it would still work in our schedule. They had expected the work to take about 2 days, but it was more like a day and a half. They installed seven small canister lights, zip-strips under three sections of cabinets, and ran new wiring up from the basement to accommodate the zip-strips. Everything went according smoothly except the placement of two canisters had to be altered because of existing plumbing pipes. Pete patched the ceiling so it was ready for painting and vacuumed every speck of dust!

Still remains incomplete and they haven't come back to finish it. The lights were installed incorrectly. There were wiring issues that they created that they tried to blame us for. The price was also significantly higher than originally quoted. They were drinking beverages on the job and littered.
Response from MUCCI ELECTRIC

It went excellent. The guy was on time and called twice to make sure that the appointment time was right. He was professional. He was knowledgeable about the job. He cleaned up his work area.

Heard about Lightning Arrestors on a podcast from The Money Pit Show. Decided that I would like to have one of these on my retirement home. Called this contractor and told him what I wanted. He showed up and installed one on the circuit breaker panel.

He showed up when he said he would, procured the necessary parts and was able to replace the malfunctioning unit without damaging the plasterwork around it. We are very pleased with his work, his demeanor and his prompt attention to a small project. In fact, he spent a fair amount of time with us discussion our options and making suggestions as to how best to get the job done. He inspected our electrical hookups in the basement to determine whether the wiring was up to code and whether we could install a unit that would draw twenty amps.
