Josie Ferreira Cleaning

Josie and her partner, Nilda, came to clean our house after after I had met Josie and texted with her several times.  Josie is a warm and friendly person; easy to talk with and responsive to requests. We have texted on several occasions. She has been quick to respond and always punctual to her appointments. Although I intend to have them do a deep cleaning in the future, I opted to start with a regular cleaning. Their "regular" clean showed an attention to detail, as much as time allowed, and and included nooks and crannies that they could have easily overlooked. We have several pets, and their comfort with animals was an added bonus, as is the fact that Josie is willing to accept a check to her business as well as cash (our cleaning is part business expense and is declared as a tax expense). They will be coming every other week and I am really pleased to have found someone whose dedication to her job, whose skill, and whose personality are all "A" quality!

We have been using Josie's cleaning service for three months now, and could not be more pleased. Each time she comes (biweekly), there is a pleasant surprise of a little something "extra" that she has done. This has included folding and organizing our towel closet (we have kept it exactly the way she did it), and wiping down the shelves inside the fridge.

We have had to reschedule her once or twice due to conflicts and she has always been able to accommodate us. The communication is excellent -- I have had other cleaners off and on over the years and this is one of the best in terms of the prompt replies, and quality of work. The house sparkles and she has clearly paid close attention to even the smallest details. 

Unlike some reviews where I have read that the cleaner has damaged items, etc., that has never happened since she started. Another issue I have had with other cleaners was not being able to find things that got moved during the cleaning and dusting. They would turn up in the strangest places. Not so with Rosa (who cleans for Josie). Rosa always returns items to their original spot, or someplace within a foot or so. No more scavenger hunts.

Josie is wonderful and has been cleaning (along with her team) once a month for the past year. She is punctual and responsive. One of the things that I really like about Josie is that she is a very good person and extremely trustworthy.  I have never had a problem and Josie has always agreed to do extra things for me if needed.  I highly recommend Josie to anyone needed housekeeping services.  

Josie is awesome!  She started cleaning for me back in the summer of 2013 and has been coming every two weeks since.  When I initially contacted her (through an Angie's List referral), she was super-responsive and make arrangements to come and look at my place to determine pricing, timing, etc.
I live alone and am not home a lot (I work in the City), so it's a situation where I love nothing more than not having to worry about cleaning myself on the rare occasions when I'm home.  I am also a bit of a neat and clean freak...which makes it that much harder for someone to clean for me.
The townhouse is large, with wood floors everywhere.
Josie does such a wonderful job - I love coming home on Friday night when I know she's been there that week!  Everything is completely spotless.
I can't recommend Josie highly enough to everyone.  I've had a lot of people clean for me over the years at a bunch of different places - and by far Josie is the absolute best.

We had some trouble coordinating our times but eventually found a mutually workable time. She was late due to circumstances beyond her control so no fault on her part. She had a team of two other young women and they got straight to work doing a complete house clean. Scrubbed everything - wiped down all the kitchen cabinets etc. Very thorough. Worked wonders in my house that has problems with clutter and toys! We are now sorting out a time for a weekly clean. We will set that up after Thanksgiving.
Overall a professional experience and I am looking forward to seeing how our weekly cleaning schedule works out.

I'm not quite sure I understand how someone can review a service that has not yet been performed. I realize it can be irritating to call a company and not hear back, however I would like to think that most people would give the business the benefit of the doubt. In this case Josie has explained what happened. In any case I have used Josie in the past and will continue to use her in the future. Not only does Josie do an amazing job and takes great pride in her work, she also is someone you can completely trust in your house. In all honestly my family looks forward to Josie coming because not only does she do a great job, she also has a awesome personality and is fun to have in your house and around your children! I was lucky to find Josie on Angie's List, and continue to use and recommend Angie's List for anyone who is in need of any kind of service. I recommend Josie and Angie's list often, to friends and family every time I get the chance !

THey showed up in the morn and started with our master bath then went on to back staircase to up hallway. WHile upstairs they also cleaned both our son's bath and daughters bath and her bedroom. There was some misunderstanding and they cleaned her bedroom as well as her bath. Josie wouldn't take any more money even though I offered since bedroom wasn't in original price.
Very professional .   They did a fantastic job all the way.  THey then moved and cleaned down front stairs and cleaned whole downstairs ; kitchen, eating,dining , living, guest,and  bath room , open office with L shaped hallway . 
Very professional all the time working very hard for I believe more than 6 hours.  
 This was our first cleaning experience and Josie and her partner made it very easy for us as well as a pleasant experience for which we thank them . I was going away for two weeks right after they came ( one of the reasons we used a cleaning company was in-laws coming while I was away ) and we aren't sure if we want full time service when I returned.

She did a wonderful job.  Her first visit to us was a very intense cleaning, my house never looked so good.  Now I have her come every 2 weeks, only because it is just my husband, my daughter and I and our house really doesn't get that messy.  I love when she comes, as the house just looks amazing when she is done.  She cleans from top to bottom.  I am very pleased with her services.  I plan on using her for as long as I can.   Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Josie's english is perfect. Her assistant is not fluent yet she is able to understand what you tell her.

Josie is thourough, professional and she and her assisitant got the house cleaned quickly.  I had another cleaning person on Angie's list give me an estimate for the same services.  Was more than double for the first time claening and the regular cleaning.   In addition, Josie is a very pleasant and upbeat person.  The one problem was that the second time she came, she had discussed comong to my home at an earlier time.  I thought the change was set.  She was not able to change the time of the other job, so she came at the original time.  It all worked out because I did not have another appointment, but could have been quite inconvenient if this had not been the case.

Josie just cleaned our home and not a moment too soon. We had been dog sitting for a week and the house smelled terrible and there was dog hair everywhere. Josie cleaned the entire house and I don't think there is a single hair anywhere and the house smells great. I wouldn't ever trust anyone but her to clean our home...

The work I asked her to do was done very well,  However the worker tried to squeeze another $5.00 out of me.  I told her that  the agreement was $80.00 and that I thought that was more than enough for three hours.

Josie came and gave me an estimate for cleaning and after one time I would NEVER want to use anyone else!  She is professional and does a superb job. My house sparkles when she leaves and it smells just wonderful.  Josie is a joy to be around and truly brightens my day when she comes.  If anyone is considering using her, don't hesitate because I guarntee that you will not be disappointed!
