A neighbor used Jet Black in Danbury to do their driveway sealing just recently and we were impressed with how they did it, the neatness and attention to detail. So, we decided to give them a try and get an estimate. The neighbor said it was a good price for him, so was expecting the same. We called and left a message on their machine since a person did not answer. Well, after 3 phone messages and 2 emails later, we never received an estimate and the guy finally sent an email apologizing, but in the mean time, we had to have someone else do it before the cold weather set in. Needless to say, the reason we called was because of their good reviews, but if you can not even get them to give an estimate or at least an email back saying they are busy, what good is all those reviews? Probably will not call them for future jobs.

We tried to get our driveway sealed. Called four times. Nothing. No response. No call back. Didn't answer the phone. Left messages. Waste of time.

. Jet Black FIRST, Richard Gervasi is a stand up guy, he came back this year to try to fix my problem. In my opinion his driveway product, let me be nice, STINKS, A week after the first application I had THREE large stains appear, I took pictures, sent them to him, he came back this year, re-did the entire driveway, FREE of charge. BUT, now the stains are back and I now have THIN CRACKS ALL OVER MY DRIVEWAY, I never had ANY problems with the oil based products & they were almost half the price. I believe HIS product prevents ground water from seeping through, creating pressure all over the driveway, the end result is CRACKS. My advice, stick with the oil based sealers. Just my opinion.

I chose to use them because it is a more a commercial grade type of sealing. They also do hot crack seal and they prepare and clean the oil and everything off the driveway so the preparation is very good. We take two or three years before we can get it done again. They paid attention to the perfection because they put the hot seal on it before they actually put the coating on it. If you had grass growing on the edging of the driveway, they would take care of that. The price was reasonable for the quality of work.

They were reasonably good. They came and did whatever they had to do. They didn’t destroy the grass because we have Belgian block. They didn’t spray on the Belgian block. They were professional and did a thorough job. We were happy with them. We had no issues. We probably will use them again in the future; we will call them in the spring.

I called them three times. One time they left me a message saying that somebody would give me an estimate and put it in the door which I never got. I called them back and said that I did not get it and I have never heard form them since.

I saw the great work that they did on other driveways and thats why I called them. They came out and gave a quote when I didn't even need to be home for it. They are just fabulous! I am going to be hiring them for the work.

We began with Jet-Black in September of 2003. They sealed the driveway of our newly built home. We were very pleased and have continued to use them about every two to three years. The 9/19/2007 project was done after driveway repair by A&J Construction, a paving company. Jet-Black always finds our history very quickly when I call and estimates are delivered in a timely manner. Throughout the process, they are good communicators. What's to be done is spelled out in a contract and they show up on time.

They did an excellent job. They were on time. The price was very reasonable and they were very professional and very easy to workwith. They did stay with in that quote. I would recommend them in the future.
