from Ingersoll Automotive which lead me to write, not one, but two scathing
reviews on Cars.com and elsewhere. In
the month and 5 days since then, Ingersoll and it's team members worked very
hard at making me a satisfied customer.
And I must say, for the most part, their efforts paid off. I am out of the vehicle that was giving me
such heartache from day one and I'm loving my new Cadillac SUV. They made good on several broken promises and
admitted right from the start the errors of their ways. They took responsibility and made good. Of course a lot of it was up to me to
understand that Ingersoll Automotive is indeed a business, and sometimes things
don't always go right. The main thing is
when that happens, as a business, you MUST make good on your mistakes or your
business will suffer and fall apart, one customer at a time. Ingersoll has a very good grasp on how
business works and they know how to satisfy a customer. Here's my word of advice to you, and it comes
from a detailed experience with Ingersoll Auto; if you are unhappy in any way
with them, TELL THEM. They will do more
then most business' to make it right.
It's my opinion that most business' would see my list of complaints and
dissatisfaction's and go running from me, and just sweep me under the rug, as
it were. But not Ingersoll. In fair disclosure, it's not that there
weren't any expenses left to me, because indeed there were. But Ingersoll made it possible, with some
investment on my part, to vastly improve our relationship. I'll leave you with this, I was finished with
Ingersoll, never to return again. At my
wits end and fed up. But once I saw the
efforts put in by the team to make me a happy customer I figured I should hold
off on running away and give them one last chance, and I'm glad I did. Now I'm actually looking forward to bringing
my car in for service and chatting with all the nice folks there who worked
through the process with me, without the fear of being "that guy". They understood my position and the situation
at hand, and are not holding it against me.
It's amazing what can be achieved if a business just tries. Take it from someone who knows, there are
many dealerships out there who can learn a lot from Ingersoll's business
model. I'd like to publicly say
"thanks for your hard work" to Jon S. and a huge thank you to Morgan
Pettinato. I wasn't going to use names
in this review, but then I thought why not?
They deserve the recognition for their efforts. And if you are in the market for a new or
used car, call Ingersoll and ask for Morgan P.
He will make sure you're happy and comfortable with your vehicle
purchase. And believe me, if you've
never experienced it, it's a good feeling.
"We're very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the experience you had with us. We truly care about our guests, and it concerns us that you feel this way. We would like to discuss this situation further, and we encourage you to contact us. Again, we apologize for your negative experience. Sincerely, Shep Labree, [email protected], 203-730-5766"
