It took about a day and a half to complete the work and it was really cold. The crew cleaned up best they could, given the conditions (it's almost impossible to identify and pick up white paint chips from the snow). We notice a huge difference in the "draftiness" of the house and our furnace runs less often too.
"Thank you for the great review. The energy audit was actually performed by our partner, New England Smart Energy Group (NESE) who is also a highly rated company on Angie's list We are the insulation company who upgraded your attic insulation, subsequent to your energy audit. We hope the whole experience was positive for you. Thanks again."
"The scope of our work was to insulate the top plates in the attic, as well as installing blown in and dense packed fiberglass in the attic areas. There was no wall insulation included in our proposal."
They arrived on time and finished early.
They left the house in a very clean state.
I would recommend them to anyone who has a house lacking of insulation.
His crew came over and did a nice job on the spray foam - they put it against the rafters, walls, knee walls and such. Overally pretty clean, but they did not do a great job of covering things, so they destroyed one HVAC grill and some plugs by not taping over it after I had asked them to.
Decent job cleaning up...cannot complain as they put in more foam than I paid for at the end
The team showed up on the install date right on time. Mike and Steven and the crew first set up by laying plastic down to assure they would not make a mess. they worked all day and completed on schedule including a great cleanup job - you wouldn't have known they were there. After a week of living with the new insulation the family was really impressed. We decided to finish the scope of work I had reviewed with Mark and scheduled the lower level exterior, the garage ceiling, and also the vaulted ceiling in the family room. Again, the team arrived, did a great job including cleanup, and was very courteous. I enjoyed meeting them and am now enjoying their work in the form of a much warmer house.
the correct product at no addn'l cost to me.
our house. The job was done thorough and accurately. All siding was
returned back, the company did interior house inspection prior the
insulation and after it, to make sure there is no damage.
Prior the job they prepared and covered our door mats and bushes with plastic to avoid a mess.
They also cleaned everything after their job was complete.
We are very pleased and happy.
Great Job.
