A consultation was verified by Cassandra last Friday. I took today off from work. The consultation was scheduled for today at 10am. I received a call at 8:45am canceling the appointment because they said I live too far away. They should have told me this before making the appointment. They new where I lived. I took the day off for nothing. I think that was rather rude of them.

They did a good job painting my home in Wilton in early November and we all quickly realized they needed to do a bit of touch up work when the weather warmed up. Because of the cold weather, they also weren’t able to finish the scope of work of our deck and garage painting. I’ve been trying to contact them over the past 2 weeks via phone and email and no one has responded - and I was assured I would be contacted the week of 4/16 to schedule the additional work. My new deck is now sitting untreated with the crazy rainy weather. I’d give them a 5 for the paint job, and a 1 for our recent customer service experience.

I was very pleased with the service they provided. The crew arrived on time, explained exactly what they were going to do, were very polite and did a great job painting my home office and living/dining room. They left everything exactly as it was prior, hung back all the artwork exactly right etc. Cassandra who works in the main office is also great - excellent customer service and responsiveness. Their pricing was also fair, especially given the quality of their work. Overall, I'd highly recommend their painting services.

General painting turned our boring brown lakehouse into a beauty on the water with the gorgeous sherwin Williams colors we chose in vinyl safe paint. I cannot express in words how meticulous every detail was and if we weren’t satisfied, they fixed it. A little hard to communicate with the painters themselves (spoke portugese) and they weren’t as careful around my fragile plants as I had hoped. I'm hoping those plants come back next year. But if you’re even thinking about painting your vinyl siding, call no one else! The price was better than the other 3 I called & Reneto explained their process in detail & even gave us his opinion when we didn’t know which color to use on certain parts of the house. They also finished before our deadline. Do yourself a favor & call them first!

Our house looks gorgeous thanks to General Painting. They are Honest , reliable, and offer a fair price for their work.They offered a detailed inspection of their work with us, and stand behind and provide touch ups where we requested. We were impressed with how hard working their crew is. I highly recommend General Painting! I wouldn’t go anywhere else !

Excellent workmanship, great attention to detail and very professional. Renato and Bruno were both outstanding, they were above and beyond the best team I have ever had.

The workers and the office support coordinator have all been very polite, responsive and easy to work with. They responded positively to touch-ups needed. They are professional painters and did a very good job with power washing, repair and scraping trims, sanding, priming and painting of the entire exterior of 2 houses including all trims and sidings. They were clean, efficient and on schedule. They kept me updated throughout the project.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of the service and the work that was done. General Painting is a professionally run operation; we appreciated the attention to detail that was evident from the job estimate, contract and follow through on promises. Ours is an old shingled farm house that needed the wood shingle to be stained and the trim to be painted. The prep work they did was impressive and the crew was unfailingly polite and responsive to any concerns or directives. We will be using them again for interior work in the near future!!! We whole heartedly recommend them.

Top notch! I researched them more than I have ever done with a contractor before as painting a large house is not an inexpensive project and the reviews were extremely accurate.This is the most customer oriented contractor I've ever hired from top to bottom.A few minor bumps along the way, but easily overcome. Be sensitive to the fact that some of the employees actually doing the work do not speak English as well as you do, so make sure you're on the same page...and keep the Supervisor and Renato in the loop as they really want to do the best job possible for you...again very good people.

Just communicate everything. We forgot to ask them not to paint our bulkhead doors. They were able to fix it though. Great company and the workers were very professional and respectful. Highly recommend!
