Douro Granite & Marble LLC

While their countertops are amazingly beautiful their customer service when a situation arises is unacceptable. We paid $7.6K for countertops and our brand new oak flooring was scratched during the process and they will not accept accountability. Their response was, and I quote "You should check with the plumber or electrician or who every came after us on friday". Well guess what, no one came after them on Friday so it's not possible the scratch was from someone else. In addition, when they arrived to template the countertop I advised Hector that I had a butcher block insert for the sink, of which I showed him and he said no problem, well the butcher block did not fit in the sink insert when they installed it. Lastly, the newly taped walls were scratched upon installation as well. I will not utilize or recommend Douro Granite and Marble LLC in the future.

Start to finish, everyone was incredible. Maria was helpful, informative and friendly. Acacio is the one who did the templating, as well as helped me lay out the templates and lead the install. The entire staff was amazing. They went above and beyond, including going to pick up the slabs from the distributor when the delivery time was too far out for our timeline). We're looking to do our master bathroom in the next couple years and we'll definitely be using them again.

We absolutely LOVE our new countertops! Rui and Maria were so wonderful when we went to the showroom. Although we only had our counters done, we will be back for tile and our bathrooms.

We selected two pieces of stone from their facility, which they measured and cut to fit two bathrooms. One vanity is a rectangular top, but has a detailed shape to the backsplash, the other is a banjo top with a plain backsplash - both turned out beautifully. We also had them cut thresholds for the doorways out of the same stone. They did great work, on time and for a reasonable price. We were very pleased and would absolutely use them again.

They offered many suggestions for improvements to our general plans, have a wide selection of stone to choose from, and understood exactly what our desires were and made them come true. The staff in the showroom, especially Maria, were courteus, patient and very helpful.
Since we didn't shop around after finding Douro, I can't comment on pricing, but I believe they price comparably to other suppliers, which is to say pretty high but fair for the fine material they sell. Most stone is sold by the square foot, so the pricing is just a multiplication problem. We are Douro customers if we ever need any more stone/tile work.

They charged us a couple of thousand dollars because we had a huge massive slab of granite countertop put in. It's double length of a normal fireplace and then we had some tiles in the bathroom. We love their service. We trust them. They are high priced than a lot of other places, but the quality of their work and their craftsmanship that goes into all their custom work is hands on above the best. We tell them what we want. Then we go over to the yard and ask them to show us what they have got in a particular range. Then they take us down to their huge warehouse. Then we tell them what we want and how it has to be cut. They send somebody over. They make a template in wood, which is what most places do. Then the guys come back in and install it, polish it and finish it. They check and see if you are happy with them. So, that is really a pleasure. If they say that they would be there at 10:30 in the morning, then they are there at that place at 10:30 that morning. They are very prompt. We would use them again. I can't say enough about them. They are as true as can be.
