Joe was great, his prices were more than fair, and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a trusted electrician!

I hired Joe last October to put in a full home generator system. The initial installation seems to have gone fine. However, there was a miscalculation on the size of the generator. Joe recommended 11v. I neglected to tell him I had a dryer hooked up to my electrical which could cause the generator to stall if the generator, ac, dryer were on all at the same time. At the time we agreed it was an oversight on both our parts since Joe never came to the house for the initial house evaluation that all electricians do prior to install which would have indicated what size generator was needed. Still no issue since we had planned to hook the ac on the transfer switch/load shed which was specifically purchased with the generator so there wouldn't be any issue with power shortage. We spoke about doing this from the beginning (I have many emails to back this up). Joe then said he would come back in the Spring to finish that particular part of the installation. I thought that was odd. Why not do it and finish the job? But I agreed and paid him in full. Come Spring I contacted him to finish. However when I contacted him in the Spring to finish the job, he said it would be extra. I was suspicious since he didn’t tell me that last Fall but I agreed. Then basically he didn’t want to finish the job unless I gave him more work to do to make it worth his while coming to complete it (see email attached). While we did discuss other small jobs in the Fall I told him I was laid off due to Covid but would try to do it. The price he gave me to install a bathroom fan was just too pricey so I just couldn’t do it and asked if he could just come finish the generator load shed install for now. He refused and then ghosted me. Never heard from him again. It’s apparent Joe tries to split the jobs up so he can come back only if you give him more work and then charge you more. I was left with getting a new electrician to come and finish the work he started which several hundred dollars extra. Also I called Generac as well as several Generac installation companies and all of them confirmed that the load shed should have been part of the initial installation and that none of their licensed electricians would do what Joe did. Just an FYI Joe is also not listed by Generac as a licensed Generac installer. While the initial set up he did seems fine I can’t recommend Joe due to his questionable business practices and unreliability. If you are going to take the chance on hiring him, at least for a generator in particular, please be sure to get a contract. If the scope of the job changes be sure to update that contract. And DON’T pay him in full until the job is fully completed.

I needed someone to install a couple 14-50 outlets in the garage for EVs. I received an almost comical amount of offers and the prices varied tremendously. C&C called and we had a great conversation about what I needed. He taught me a thing or two about home electricity systems, did great work on the job itself, was a pleasure to talk to and deal with, and very reasonably priced. I'm going to have Joe come back soon to clean up some of my circuit breakers as whoever did them before we bought the house clearly wasn't C&C. Joe even came back at one point on his own to make a change and improve something I was already more than happy with. Great guy, great work, highly recommended.

We bought an old house that turned out to have very quirky wiring. After troubleshooting the issues, Joe replaced all the breakers, installed a surge protector in the breaker box, and re-did the old grounding for the house. After working with several sub-par electricians over the years, Joe was fantastic and we’d recommend him to anyone.

C&C showed up the same day, and quickly solved the issue. He had both the necessary insight and ability to get the job done. I definitely plan on using them again.

Joe was on time, completed all the work in the same day, and the price was reasonable considering all the work we had done. He asked us questions to ensure that he was installing the fixtures how we wanted and he cleaned up after himself. We wouldn't hesitate to have Joe do more electrical work for us in the future.

We have used Joseph on three or four occasions for the above project. Each time he was always unprofessional by using foul language and always trying to get things done his way by saying that whatever is easier for him is what he is going to do. He works 2-3 hours a day for a job that can be done in 1 day. He has no regards to the client needs. We had asked him to come in and install 4 light fixtures and connect the dishwasher. He came today and parked at my neighbors parking spot. I had asked them to move his vehicle to a visitor spot. He replied by saying that he is not moving the van because he's having a bad day and he does not give a ****. I then mention to him that the next-door neighbor is handicap. He turned around and waved at me as if saying I don't care. He got into the van and drove away. In under 10 minutes, the handicapped neighbor was back. Joseph is very unprofessional, very messy when he works and does not clean up after himself. Every time he comes to work there's always drama for example I broke up with my girlfriend and this and that. We just want our electrical work done. He asked for $100 an hour. No problem. Expensive! You think he would be more professional. Joseph seriously needs to take some business etiquette classes. That explains why he only works by himself. I'm assuming that employees cannot deal with him. If you're looking to deal with someone professional, clean and someone that will do the work exactly as you asked, he is not the person to work with. This is just half the story.

"I just want to say that all my other reviews speak for itself this man [Member Name Removed] doesn't have a clue on general construction or general knowledge and process of construction this project he did everything was done backwards and upside down and I got fed up working for someone who thinks he knows what he's doing and he doesn't"

We needed a trusted electrician… fast! I had called 2 local electricians who gave me the runaround. Then I looked on Angie’s List and found C&C Electric. I liked the reviews & called. Joe was always on time--the day of estimate and the morning of job. This eliminated A LOT of stress for me since I knew exactly when he’d arrive. Joe replaced two burnt-out attic fans. My hubby wanted to buy the materials so Joe texted a photo to let me know exactly what to buy. Joe also installed (from scratch) a new ceiling fan (wiring in attic, drilling hole in ceiling, etc.). He moved the thermostat further away from the attic fan (using wire from his van), then helped us determine where to locate the ceiling fan and it was the perfect location! I would use him again in a heartbeat; I plan to call when we convert from an electric to a gas range one day. A friend who was visiting will call him for an estimate to re-wire her house addition. I took a few business cards and will recommend to my friends/family if they ever have the need for an electrician. I highly recommend to Angie’s List readers.

Was quick to respond to request for a quote and to complete the project. Demonstrated his extensive knowledge and experience with options I hadn't thought of. Worked very hard to complete the job and was responsive to my addition requests.

Called Joe at 9:30 PM expecting to leave a message, surprisingly he answered!  We talked about what I needed done and set up an appointment for an estimate.  He quoted time ($100 Hr.) and materials with a cap of 12 hours, which was very very fair and reasonable.
Gave the job to Joe, he worked quick and did what was asked.  Had came back a second day to finish.  Joe was fair, easy to work with, prompt and he knows his trade.

Joe was fantastic and one of the best tradesman I have experienced. He was very responsive and accommodating to my needs. I am redoing a laundry room and Joe had a great eye for what needed and could be done from an electrical perspective. The tough job, snaking a new separate circuit into the laundry room for the washer was difficult and challenging, but Joe was able to knock it off in a couple of hours. He spent the rest of the time tidying up the different circuits in the room and making suggestions that ultimately made life much easier for me. His focus was to give me a quality job at a minimum cost. For that he did in spades and when I need an electrician again, I will be sure to call him.

Joe was professional, easy to get along with, and accomodating.  Before I called Joe, I spoke with 2 other electicans.  Neither really understood the proper electrical code or procedures.  When I spoke with Joe, I found his knowledge of my electical needs to be accurate.  His price was very reasonable and I would gladly do business with him again.
