Mr. Montuori responded to our phone call and gave us what he thought was wrong, and then visited to see the problem. He told us what needed to be done (install a sump pump) and he also recommended closing our existing sump pump in the boiler room. We have had this problem for awhile and had other estimates, including digging a trench all around the house for over $20,000. We were very happy to pay $3800. for this professional job. We will use this company again if we have any other problems needing this type of remedy.

Joe, company manager, explained my water intrusion problem and how All Dry Basement Systems could correct it. He demonstrated knowledge of services, explained my problem and remediation with clarity and was very friendly. He patiently answered all of my questions. He returned during the job and then came back for a walk through after the job was completed. All e-mails and phone calls were promptly answered. There was no sale pressure. Alex and the crew were excellent in all that they did. All have an outstanding work ethic. They were polite, trustworthy and when the job was completed left the work area, inside and out, super clean. Alex was willing to answer any questions I had and thoroughly explained what was going on during all stages of the job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone dealing with basement water intrusion problems.

Joe came to survey the issue and came up with a plan to keep us dry going forward. After interviewing five other companies, we decided All Dry was the best value and we felt most comfortable that they would be able to manage any unseen issues. The team arrived promptly, worked well and quickly, and installed the system as promised. We have yet to see it "in action," but assume it will work as advertised. My only issues are that we were not told that the drywall and base frame would be removed all along the perimeter... and they also removed ALL the shelving in another room around the drain perimeter. This adds extra expense we were not anticipating as all those shelves and all that drywall and framing now need to be replaced. They also did not clean up after installation. The carpet on the stairs to the basement is ruined as a result, and there's dust everywhere. updated on 07/24/19 See my review of 12/18. Since then, until now, our basement has been largely dry. This past weekend, however, when the rains were fierce and lengthy, water again poured into our basement, and the sump pumps did nothing to mitigate the issue. When Friday's rains abated, we discovered that the drain pipe All Dry Basements used for the sump pump output is completely shredded and non-functional. All that water was pushed back to the window, and poured back into the basement. This seems like dry basement 101 to me - the pipe should have been vetted for use with the sump pump - in fact, it should have been vetted as a possible issue causing the water problems in the first place (since, obviously, it was a major factor and we HIRED All Dry to figure out what was happening to cause water after years of our basement being dry and advise us on how to make sure the basement was dry going forward.) We called All Dry and have not had a response. Very disturbing and disappointing. updated 10/11/19 Just to respond to the response - um, NO. The pipe was not just blocked, it had been decimated. It was in shreds and clearly had been for some time, even before the work was done putting in two sump pumps (that, once the pipe was fixed, have not once been needed). It is the WHOLE REASON we were getting water in the basement. So we feel we were WAY oversold on what we needed to do to fix the problem. Duped, in fact. And then had to pay an additional $1000 to fix the problem for good.
Response from All Dry Basement Systems LLC
"Your review is very disappointing. Every basement waterproofing contractor including us told you that the lower two feet of the wall board and the floor molding would have to be ripped out to properly install the system. Your finished basement was in total disarray from as much as 7" of water over a four week period. Numerous contractors were going in and out during that time. All the floors in the basement were ruined. Your basement did not have an exterior access so all the contractors had to use your basement staircase to enter and leave the basement. The carpet on the stairs was pretty much ruined before we even started the job. We use a HEPPA machine to suck out all the dust as we work so I know we left little to no dust behind. After the project was completed, I came to your home and met with you, your mother, and your two adult children, all of whom reside at the property. I listened to what you said and rather than argue with you I simply said, "I just want you to be happy. Tell me what you want and it will be done." After a long pause, You and your family agreed that nothing more really needed to be done and there was no reason to have the guys make a trip back out to the house. When I persisted with my offer, you maintained your response. I don't know what more we could have done."

Joe came out first to assess the water damage in our basement. He was thorough and professional. Best of all, he did not pressure us to make a decision as some other companies had. The two men who came to do the work were outstanding. Besides the noise from some drilling, you wouldn't even know they were there. The work done was top of the line and best of all, we have a dry basement! Would recommend this company a thousand times over!

We had constant flooding in our basement during the winter months and contacted a handful of companies to come and assess the situation. Joe was the only person who was concerned about our septic system, and he took the time and energy to devise a plan that wouldn't negatively effect the septic fields. No one else even asked if we had a septic system! Sure, they all give a lifetime guarantee that there will be no more water in the basement, but if you have to replace your septic, it's not their concern. Joe came back several times to take measurements and draw up plans, and the result has been great. Joe is thoughtful and thorough, and he creates a plan specifically for your space and needs. Highly recommend!

Joe and his team did a fantastic job. Joe was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout the whole process. At his first visit, he took precise measurements, and asked us to get someone out to scope our existing drains. He come out for that appointment as well, so he could really understand what was going on. After that he sent over a very thoughtful proposal for addressing the issues, which came in well below what we expected to pay. His team finished the whole job in 2 days, and were very considerate in keeping things clean throughout.

Joe and his crew are excellent. Workers were polite and professional. Job was tough, but we have a dry basement which has recently been tested due to the heavy rain in Fairfield County CT.

Joe has many years of experience in this business.  His critical eye and knowledge of how homes are built made me feel very confident  his recommendations.  He is honest, will not do more than what is necessary, took a conservative approach in resolving my issue and was more than reasonable with the work that was completed.  I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Joe Montuori is a consummate professional.

He came out to see the job to be done.

Showed up on time and we discussed a few options.

He knows his stuff! Very knowledgeable with great insight and advice on how to perform the job.

His crew showed up on time and worked hard.

Big shout out to his guy Alex. Very nice person to have work in your home.

They left the place spotless and the work they did was top notch.

I would recommend them and would use them again in the future should the need arise.

They completed the job on time and exceeded my expectations!

The workers arrived on time in the morning and worked until 8pm. They moved all of my stuff out of the way and then covered everything with plastic. Everything was done professionally and efficiently. The project was originally scheduled for 2 days but they were able to complete the basement in 1. The workers did a thorough cleanup and walked me through the job explaining what they did. I highly recommend All dry basements and will definitely use them again.

Because of a situation with my insurance company I needed to get the foundation repaired in 3 weeks. When I called All Dry Basement Systems and spoke to Joe he came out right away to look at the crack. He wasn't sure if they could do the job but he promised me that if they couldn't do it he would find another contractor to do it. That alone impressed me. It was great that he would help me even if his company couldn't do the work.
As it turned out he DID the job. He kept me up to date on the progress and came with his worker to install the steel brace. To help me with the paperwork I needed for the insurance company he took photos of the finished work and emailed them to me.
I had been stressed out worrying about getting this fixed within the time frame required by the insurance company and Joe made me feel less nervous. He explained everything and put my mind at ease. I am so glad I called him. I would have absolutely no hesitation about calling him if I need that kind of work done again.
He was very friendly and personable and easy to talk to. I also had no trouble contacting him if I had any questions.
